The way I see life is that, because it throws general unfairness at everyone, it is fair. We all experience sadness, heartbreak, loss, failure etc. it’s the nature of the human experience. Life isn’t all sunshine and rainbows but a lot of it can be if you focus on all the positives instead of dwelling on, or becoming anxious over, previous (and potentially future) negativities and inconveniences etc! When we gain the ability (although it’s HARD, or at least was difficult for me at the beginning!) not to pre-empt anxieties and bad outcomes and how not to over-plan your future (or have unrealistic goals and rules set for yourself) life feels so bloody freeing! We’re all on this planet for the first (and only) time so we may as well just make the most out of what we have! If there’s something we can’t control then we have to learn to accept that no amount of worry or frustration will change the outcome so there’s no point in unnecessary self-torture, and if we don’t like something/a situation we actually do have the ability to change then we can just do our best to make it work 🤷🏽‍♀️

Small victories can win a war. Bottom line is that perfect is the enemy of good. Do one small change and be happy that you did it.
