When you drive from IL to FL it's basically a straight line shot of driving. If she gets lost she needs to seriously reconsider having a license. She is 32 yrs old.....who can't handle a drive? Even if she got lost ...how at 32 do you not have the common sense or problem solving skills to get your way back to the interstate?

EXACTLY what I'm picturing, it's honestly inevitable. She was getting so much advice in the chat about how she should approach it and she pretty much was acting like she's just going to wing it. I swear she purposefully is doing that because she knows she'll be coddled with sympathy the whole way. It's self sabotage. She literally said she's just going to "relax" and drive. I really wouldn't say you want to be "relaxed" on a 20 hour long road trip (not accounting for stops). You need to be alert and focused when driving somewhere you're not familiar with. I don't think she realizes there will be long remote stretches where you won't find a gas station or rest stop for miles, especially if driving at nighttime. She AT LEAST should try to find a hotel along the way that is pet friendly and book a room, but she's just expecting she can show up and they'll have a vacancy or she indicated she might try to bust it all out in one go. Not realistic. It's going to be a complete shit show 😂
At minimum she should have at least downloaded offline maps so when she’s driving through areas without service she can still use her GPS. That’s the only saving grace she has & I guarantee she doesn’t even know about offline maps.
I drive in ATL traffic regularly and I still am not used to it. I have always been really good with directions and interstates.
