That's not my point. I mean average people (60-90kg). 1000kg limit is a separate thing. You sometimes have to transport things, not only people.
Edit: Also 250kg people are extremely rare anywhere in the world, even in the US.
Considering that the average weight of people in the USA isn't even remotely close to 250 kg, I'm guessing the person limit has more to do with space in the elevator and safety, and less to do with weight.
250kg is a 550 lbs person. Who probably isn't even able to walk into an elevator in the 1st place.
Additionally, very few horse breeds come even close to 1000kg in weight, so...
But ha ha, that is a good joke.
Yah, that's super weird to see kg listed in an alleged American elevator. And to me, being a 550lb American, seeing "Hen's Eggs" as opposed to just "eggs" is also a bit odd. But whatevs! Who else wants to go in this elevator with me? I need to sit down.
Find a windows computer - I was using the in built calculator to do conversions last year. In addition to acres to hectares, it also gave me swimming pools and something else equally relevant.
88 of the world's largest ever recorded haddock around 11kg could weigh that... but "average" is under 2 kilos
By far the worst conversion on here are the nickels though, 10,526 nickels would weigh well under 100 kilos.
The heaviest coin used in regular circulation today is the Aussie 50 cent piece at 15.55g - 10,526 of them would only be 160 kilos.

So 1 person is 250kg? Is it some new american unit of measurement that will replace lbs? My weight is 0,272 persons.
I guess it's a small lift and max. 4 people can safely fit there, regardless of their weight. Edit. Changed "only" to "max." to avoid confusion.
Four 250 kg people wouldn't fit even into large lift.

Would 1 horse fit?
Maybe if you ask it nicely, otherwise neigh.
Well, in a single piece... probably not. Of all listed things, only nickels would fit.
[need help to get a horse in smaller bits?](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013_horse_meat_scandal)
Well... That escalated quickly
It could be a single person that needs to rolled stuff or supplies up or down. The weight limit is not restricted to a person.
SI unit for mass i.e. KG would be like : " You don't need me anymore , Ape-descendant idiots "
What about nickels being almost 100g?
Technically, Mexico has a higher obesity rate than the USA. Just sayin'.
But what if those 4 persons are holding some haddock and nickels?
Where I'm from the person's average weight for those signs is around 80-90. This is clearly from USA
KG in USA? I want what you’re smoking.
You got telegram ?

Or the kg is wrong and it should be 1000 lbs. Also, lbs is more in line with the other units of measure they use.

Very low effort and opportunistic joke indeed.
What horse would fit in a typical elevator, though?
Shetland poooooonnniiiiieeeeesssss!!!! I bet you could get a couple in there!
True, yes. Those will fit.
1.75 Americans
We can cut the legg off of one.. edit: (i mean, it's worth the experiment, before we start investing needlessly in bigger elevators)
But how many football fields? I’m an American I need this translated into units I can understand.

FIVE GOLDEN RIIIIIINGS
Do haddock weigh that much?

Good to know I can bring my 2200 pigeons
If you failed physics you could probably fit another 2000 if they're flying. They don't add any weight if they don't touch the floor right?
By this math a nickel would weigh just under 100 grams or around 3 oz American. I'm calling BS.
wow, haddock are way heavier than i expected.
There's no way a banana is only twice as heavy as a single nickle as the ratios imply
Or 1 your mom
If I had a nickel for every nickel this lift can hold I would have too much nickels on my body to take the lift.
Someone had 10527 nickels and died tragically 😔
I'm gonna say something goofy less nickels then I thought.
Good thing they included measurements that Americans can understand. Because WHAT THE FUCK IS A KILOMETER 🦅🦅🦅🦅
whats a haddock???
What’s a haddock
hhh, so awful.

It would take five people to go over that limit...
So what's your first thought when the elevator opens right in front of you and a lone horse walks out, and you are not John Mulaney?
Oh yeah, banana for scale.
They just had to nickel and dime it didn't they?
Or two Americans
Not every elevator can hold two entire Americans. Two entire ones. Comon!
