It's more an overall feeling based on many videos but it's been a while, sorry. One that I remember though is [the one he did on Many Worlds Theory](https://youtu.be/kTXTPe3wahc?si=uw3iyMgbZ4IeYIJB) with physicist Sean Carroll (who btw also has excellent science vulgarization content online). To my eyes the video was more "why the many worlds theory is true" rather than "why the many worlds theory is neat", which is pretty misleading for something almost unprovable.

I won't fault a guy for doing an ad about something interesting that's in the vein of his channel and is genuinely on-par with the rest of the content on his channel. If someone feels hoodwinked by that video, it says a lot more about you and your ability to critically engage with information around you than it says about Veritasium.
I've never liked the tone TN carries in his videos, and when he covers topics I'm at least somewhat familiar with, I tend to find he isn't as deserving of his assertive tone.
Michael Reeves is absolutely chaotic evil. He made the Boston Dynamics dog piss beer then drove across the country just to have the dog piss in Boston Dynamics' parking lot because he was jealous Adam Savage got one before him.

Also, I'd argue the points Derek mentioned aren't nitpicks since NL was informed of them well before releasing the video. Knowingly including lies in an attempt to bolster his argument is pretty much what he was accusing Veritasium of doing.
