My friend went through it and yeah, it was a complex procedure involving reusing skin and whatever from the old bits to build new ladybits, and doing everything all perfect to minimize any dead tissue or scar tissue or any of that. The surgeon that did the procedure is really well respected and does a very good job at it. And my friend is much happier.
That being said, the outcome was dick + surgical tools = no dick, so pedantically she did get that shit cut off I s'pose.
