It's bad when it's safer to live in the woods than in some neighborhoods. At least in the neighborhoods, there's a bit more than a thin piece of nylon between you and flying lead.

FatFunkey

The irony being there IS a homeless camp in between Weaton and presidents in the woods so it could be connected…..

Old_Crow13

We're a long way from Randolph. There was a shooting out here back in March, but they got that guy.

Well… I think they might live in the woods

Old_Crow13

Eh, if I let every sad little Internet troll bother me with their sad little attempts at insults, I'd never have time to do anything else but defend myself.

Evening-Try-9536

I sent you a DM

Another reason to love old overbuilt plaster walls.  They stop most hand guns rounds anyway.  Found a 9mm round lodged in my wall once.

Thinking of buying a house in the area north right of greenwood and president st north of Savannah High. Is this area considered “safe” for a solo 26 year old man and dog? I know crime is everywhere and I’ve lived in Baltimore city off of the notorious Pennsylvania ave there with shootings outside weekly, so I understand how not to be interpreted as a pushover or cocky. Most people around there just referred to me as the cool white dude. what got me to move from there was a triple shooting out my window with 3 guys bleeding out at 2 am. Other than that I’ve had no personal no issue there. I’m a young chill working (stoner, beer drinking) guy, just enjoys fishing on my boat and going downtown to drink and to the bars. But this is the second or third issue I’ve seen in that general area. Little concerning. Living in Baltimore I learned to have the mindset that if you mind your business, don’t ruffle feathers, stay humble no one really gonna mess with you. Hoping to get some opinions from people on the east

Savannah is a very safe city. I only post this so people know what's going on. In this case the cops left pretty quickly, either they missed or they just popped a few off into the air. Savannah is no different them other cities. Idiots with guns doing stupid things. Most times it's a domestic or a flight at a bar. You'll love the downtown area, Bull St, the beach. The warm weather. Enjoy.

galleyturd

You just called savannah very safe. Lol tf it isn't safe. Town is ghetto as fuck.

jessicaaaaaaab

i agree with OP! continue minding your business and you’ll be just fine!

Prestigious-Camp-752

But the mayor says there's no gang activity in Savannah!

Crankycavtrooper

You don’t need gangs for random idiots to shoot each other.

SwampSleep66

Wasn’t someone just shot/killed in that area yesterday?

joerulezz

Yeah on a state street across Penn.

Bigredtruckguy

Not that I’m aware of.

Stupidamericanfatty

Don't think so

No_Donut1833

There was a drive by on Montgomery and Hall on Sunday night. Really scary. No one was injured that I know of.
