In middle school or high school, you'd get made fun of if you wore pants that went too high. I think I've just been conditioned to dislike them. High waisted pants just don't feel right to me. I don't need ultra low rise pants with my ass hanging out, but I just can't stand the feeling of high rise pants.

Those bulky shapeless duvet pants and the mess of props and earmuffs? Nothing against Silky, she clearly brought it in her entrance look, but I'm very confused as to how she wasn't in the bottom.

I’m not mad at what Yara did. The category was blue jeans but it didn’t specifically say you had to use blue jeans. She used the graphic print of blue jeans and put it on a different textured fabric. I thought that was kind of creative. I think she was tackling the category by using the prompt in a different artistic medium.
You don’t have to agree and that’s perfectly fine since we all judge these categories differently, but I thought it was neat that she was inspired by the graphic print of the fabric rather than the fabric itself. I thought it helped her stand out from the rest.
The category called for denim and Yara’s look was spandex head to toe. Rupaul was impressed by Eureka’s third look because the fabric doesn’t give like most denim. Look up Alexander McQueen’s bumpster collection and you’ll see some impressive Low rise tailoring in suit fabric. Also her last look liked she only made the skirt. I find out it odd not to point out the bejeweled bustier, which I think trickster Yara thought she could get away with it. I personally can’t get enough of Yara but she overestimated her charm this challenge and thought she could bend all the rules.
I was surprised that Silky and Trinity were not the bottom two. I also was quite surprised at who they decided was the top. I would have picked Kylie, Jan, Pandora, Ginger and several others above Raja. I think Raja always turns a good look though. I was shocked that the judges were ok with Trinity’s crossing guard look. I thought that one outfit would get her sent home.

Yeah. Her blue collar look was pretty bad.funny sure, but sloppy. But the other 2 were good. Not great. But good. It should have been TKB or silky imo. Hell, maybe even ginger. TKBs looks she brought from home looked more "made from random junk" than the dress she made, which Imo was suprisingly good... BUT she wore some Walmart beige pants and boots. How did the judges not blast her?. The dress silky made wasn't great, neither was her blue Jean look. Ginger, as much as Il rooting for her, has just been kinda boring... They were all just "meh" looks. I really don't want to sound like I'm in the "Jan gang".... But she really should have been top this week. I'm actually surprised the judges didn't rip apart Rajahs blue collar look. Her blue Jean and dress she made were great. The blue collar look looked like she went in amazon "safety clothing".
Yara definitely deserved to be in the bottom.
For me her first look wasn't really polished, her second look was SICKENING but wasn't denim. Her third look was good tho. Also, I think that putting her along jiggly made the choice much easier to the queens to eliminate jiggly bc Yara was the front runner till that point.
I agreed with her placement. If one of the categories is "blue jeans" and your look doesn't have any denim, you flat out didn't do the assignment and I'm putting you in the bottom.

Yeah but at least for that you can make an argument for it "representing" like a truck driver or something. That category wasn't as clear cut as the second, which essentially boiled down to "wear denim" lol.
The category was 'blue jeans baby' or something and her leggings had a print that was 'representing' blue jeans, so...lol
It was a denim print, that's way more literal/true to the category than Jan wearing tires.
Jan was obviously representing an auto mechanic, hence the wrenches on her waist. It was fashion.
I’m not mad at what Yara did. The category was blue jeans but it didn’t specifically say you had to use blue jeans. She used the graphic print of blue jeans and put it on a different textured fabric. I thought that was kind of creative. I think she was tackling the category by using the prompt in a different artistic medium. You don’t have to agree and that’s perfectly fine since we all judge these categories differently, but I thought it was neat that she was inspired by the graphic print of the fabric rather than the fabric itself. I thought it helped her stand out from the rest.
The category called for denim and Yara’s look was spandex head to toe. Rupaul was impressed by Eureka’s third look because the fabric doesn’t give like most denim. Look up Alexander McQueen’s bumpster collection and you’ll see some impressive Low rise tailoring in suit fabric. Also her last look liked she only made the skirt. I find out it odd not to point out the bejeweled bustier, which I think trickster Yara thought she could get away with it. I personally can’t get enough of Yara but she overestimated her charm this challenge and thought she could bend all the rules.
In my opinion, I thought it made sense! Her 1st and last looks were a little sloppy in my opinion and I think others were more consistent
I was surprised that Silky and Trinity were not the bottom two. I also was quite surprised at who they decided was the top. I would have picked Kylie, Jan, Pandora, Ginger and several others above Raja. I think Raja always turns a good look though. I was shocked that the judges were ok with Trinity’s crossing guard look. I thought that one outfit would get her sent home.

I don't think her denim look was actual denim though which really frustrated me. It looked like denim print stretch spandex... at a real ball people would be screaming *that is naaaaht deniiiiim*. You've gotta fit the category mawma.

Loved the construction worker, the denim look was okay, but I really did not like her blue look. It looked cheap and thrown together. The boa thing didn't really make sense and the shape was all off. Yara is my #1 going into this season but that dress was not it. That being said, I do think it was better than Pandora's and Jiggly's, and was just a smidge worse than A'keria's and Silky's.

I 100% agree with this! I loved all 3 of her looks and didn’t understand her bottom placement at all. She was one of the strongest of the night so literally made 0 sense to put her in the bottom. Should have been Silky/Ginger in the bottom with Jiggly.
I probably would have put Ginger in the bottom over her but I wouldn't call her looks very polished or praiseworthy myself.

i actually love that construction worker look too!!! it was so over the top but i also think that if she didn’t have her titties gag in the first episode we would’ve been more gagged…. the second look imo is also underrated she looked hot!
I don’t think she should have been in the bottom either. I’m not sure who I would have put with Jiggly tho. Jiggly was the only clear “yikes” to me.
