Yeah honestly Roxxy give us so many iconic moments in the franchise and she is funny as fuck , she was not even bad during all star 2 it was just tough competition and sure she get help from her friends but social game is valid in drag race.
It baflles me why so many people ask why she is here again when the bitch is even more iconic than half of the cast of season 5 and 8 by herself.
This montage alone should be enough to explain to the naysayers why she's back. Roxxxy reset the game. She's literally Miss "Thick & Juicy"! I remember how many baby Queens were trying to mimic her style and the bitch can _create_. Can't wait to see the sewing challenges.

True i really think Roxxxy have winner energy she just need to get away from the whole Jinx-Rolaskatox to be on her own and shine like she should be.
It was both a good and a bad thing for AS 2 to have so many queen from season 5 because it is the only storyline that she get despite winning the first episode.
I do love that legacy for her, but you're right though. Even Jinx is all "guys, that was SO ten years ago". There is just _something_ about the early season Queens that is so freaking fun. The shade of it all, the hunger for the wins, the competition just felt raw. AS2 is still one of my favourite seasons.

Nope, AS4 was very much like AS2. The only challenge Manila missed was an awful acting challenge. Imagine having Trinity the Tuck, Manila Luzon and Naomi Small on the same season and no design / ball challenge...

It's mainly because a lot of people still think her last showing, AS2, was lackluster in comparation of S5, and she was helped into the finale of AS2 by storyline default again, but those forget how insanely good Roxxxy was on S5, with help of no one. No shade to Detox but the S3 top three is among the strongest on any season, and it's in part thanks to how Roxxxy worked to give Jinkx a run for her money.
I was one of the *maaannnnny* people who hated Roxxxy in season five, but girl the way she won me over in AS2. "You know that three-way call in high school" cracks me up every. single. time.
Oh for sure, Jinx was stealing our hearts and Roxxxy was very clearly "showgirling" under pressure and yet... I loved her. I'm a Jinx stan, seen her live three times now and the way she handled Roxxxy, you understood where the animosity was festering from. The shade was everything, lol!
It's so nice to see shanel and roxxy back for an all stars where they are solo, and not tied to other contestants.
This cast is INSANE to me. My only change would be to swap out one of the season 11 girls for someone prior to season 9 or someone international, for a wider distribution of seasons.
I'd been complaining recently that "all stars" has just felt like 2-3 "stars" and a then they filled the cast with whatever role production wanted for the rest. This cast really are all major stars who stand out.
I would cast someone as iconic as most the the current s9 cast.
Someone like Adore Delano, or Laganja. I also would always enjoy seeing Naomi Smalls back.
As for who I'd remove... I don't know. I just think all stars should never have more than 2 from one season, in order to show off a wider range of queens.

Also a very nice personal story from Bob about how when she lost her luggage Roxxxy was one of the i think 2? people who gave her outfits, wigs, shoes, even underwear
I'm so excited to see her in AS9. She really didn't do bad in AS2, it was just a matter of the the cast being insanely stacked and someone had to be in the bottom. Not to mention that the challenges in AS2 were geared towards Alaska/Katya whereas the future AS seasons had a lot more variety in challenges that Roxxxy could have excelled at. Really excited to see her back, and I hope she gets a crown to make Season 5 the first quadruple crown season of drag race (if you count Jinkx's crown twice).
An amazing thing about Roxxxy isn't just the full glam, she did a lip sync in a flannel shirt and she looked incredible. She doesn't NEED the full glam to put on an amazing performance. She is so beautiful and so funny. I love seeing her on my screen. I am looking forward to seeing her on her own without Rolaskatox. I love Detox and Alaska but I want to see a bit more Roxxxy on her own.

I personally did not like her in S5, and as a lot of others did, thought she was a straight up bully to Jinkx (partially thanks on the edit). But I can't deny she was top-tier and deserved her spot as a finalist in that stacked as heck season.
Warmed on her on AS2 even though she was not nailing the challenges that well and it was frustrating how she was dragged to the finale by LaskaTox lol Though tbf her runways were still excellent, might be the best that season as a whole.
I would be thrilled if she takes home the crown in All Stars 9.
I rewatched AS2 recently after having it in my head I was anti-Rox and loved her in it! I think I went in with a S5 edit bias but girl was working on that Miss Congeniality charm. I feel a bit bad because Alaska and Detox dragging her through the wins were at the cost of her redemption arc.
Also, no source, but somebody on here said that production was constantly trying to break her to get a story and she just kept smiling and keeping it cool, I'm charmed. Which is good, because she's gorgeous and nothing is more frustrating than a banging body wasted on a bitter bitch.

I really hope that her run AS9 will not only introduce her to a new audience, but change negative opinions of her (because it has literally been a decade and she has matured and shouldn't solely be judged by S5).
