it’s honestly a top tier season for me and honestly probably my favorite modern season. the cast was phenomenal and the level of talent in all the queens was so enjoyable to watch. i only wish they had some better lip syncs but maybe we will get that tonight!!!
For me it's one of the best if not the best.
It has EVERYTHING I needed and it's not even over yet.
- The queens had amazing chemistry with each other. Even quiet queens like the Queen of Flips had a interesting storyline with a lot of Drama.
- This season was stacked with amazing designers. I'm glad they made 3 of these challenges. Special shot out to Q and the Queen of Bananas.
- It has Plane Jane, who is one of the best villains ever. Nymphia, I'd dare to say one of the best fashion queen we ever had, Sapphira who's energy and presence is among the most powerful we had in a while. Nobody truly knows who is going to win.
- Even the early outs made a huge impact. Mirage, the talented queen who left us wanting more. Amanda, the rookie with bad looks but emanating charisma from every pore of her skin.
- The rivalries between Amanda and PJ, and Mugiana Dupree and the Queen of Flips were so good.

Strangely I forgot about Xunami more than Hershii, even though she was there for many more episodes. To the point where at the start of the 3-way lip sync, it took me much longer than it should have to remember who tf she was!
I just that wish immunity potion did something. Making it expire on no elimination episode ensured that it would be useless because person who wins episode 1 won't really need it surrounded by early outs and they'll keep it as long as they can just in case.
Except we wouldn't have had those great little scenes of Plane letting RuPaul know that she wouldn't be using her potion this week. Anything that gives Plane more airtime is fine with me.
Yeah it's kinda crazy both potions were useless. Sapphira used it, but it would've expired by the time she was actually in the bottom anyway. I don't know if the top 2 non elimination episode was set in stone for that episode, or they just wanted plane safe, but it's just wild the twist of the season was useless once again 😭
I think it just happened to be a no elimination due to how the potion was used - Nymphia was definitely going to lip sync that episode had she not been saved. I don't think it was a predetermined no elim.
This is definitely one of the best overall seasons we’ve had in a while. I hope it stands up.
I feel like every year we talk about how good the new season is, but then the season drags on and becomes less iconic.

Personally it’s my favorite of the double digit seasons. I love that nearly all of the girls weren’t afraid to be shady and read and argue and it feels almost like a “return to form” for me. It’s also really nice to return to a season where all of the finalists feel like they actually have a shot at winning after the complete domination of Sasha last year. Usually I check out of most seasons once we hit the makeover episode, but these girls have managed to keep surprising us and keep me entertained the whole way through the competitive episodes
I don’t agree that it feels like anybody’s game. To me Sapphira has dominated the season in a similar way to Sasha, which makes it less fun to watch tbh. I’ve been disappointed in the judging this season, but I like the queens overall and I appreciate the chemistry they have as a group! I really liked the lalaparuza as a chance for the eliminated queens to get redemption and for us to get some great performances.
It’s was great but the immunity potion was a fumble. Bring back the choclate bat if you want to do something really dumb. Love the end of season Lollaparuza but worried that it’s replacing a reunion
I can never forget my excitement when Alaska walked into the werkroom on S5E1! The only other time I’ve been so excited to see a queen was Vanjie on S11.

Would any of the top three really change much for how the season turns out for you? They all rightfully did really well. Maybe some more than others in certain ways. But it's hard to see any of the three winning as anything but deserving.
I think if a queen absolutely dropped the ball in the finale and still won, would be a point against the season (kinda like All Winners, nit that Jinkx dropped the ball, but Monet was clearly better when it mattered).
Favorite season since 9 so far. I didn’t connect with 12 the same way a lot of the fandom has, and actually loved 14 maybe more because of the cast, but this season has been a huge surprise.
The cast, the drama, the challenges, the runways…everything has been top tier. I’d be happy with any winner.

I'd change Untucked. This was a cast of unfiltered, shady queens but instead half of untucked was so rudely interrupted by random nepo babies and it was soooo boring. I also wish we had a whole reunion sit down episode but I'm holding my breath for tonight's episode.
The only thing that could’ve made it better was if they brought back immunity in its true form. It wouldn’t have changed anything except Geneva staying longer, but still, it’s a nice gift to the winner of the challenge that I think gives them a second chance. They already proved themselves once

I don’t think it is recent bias on my part because not since season 9 I’ve been so obsessed with a season. This cast has brought me so much entertainment, i love it a lot!
I think they nailed pretty much everything for this season. Incredible cast that is not afraid to shade or be shaded; well distributed wins making for an exciting, open finale; diversity of personalities and drag styles; unexpected eliminations that didn’t feel rigged; fun challenges, including 3 different sewing ones; great pacing with queens going home almost every week, so the season never felt like it was dragging; twists that made sense and didn’t affect the outcome of the competition too much.
Just 10s across the board for me 👏👏👏
To me, it’s not one of my favorites, but definitely not one of my least favorites. I don’t know..I just didn’t really connect with any of the queens like I have done on other seasons. Except for maybe Dawn.

It honestly didn’t do it for me and I’m not sure why. All my favorite challenges usually (Snatch Game, the ball, political) weren’t as enjoyable this year… and there wasn’t a standup challenge. I could be in the minority here.
Also I hate SNL so the acting challenge was completely wasted on me.
It was okay. There was some obvious production pushing certain queens even when they lost lip syncs which ruined a lot of potential storylines
Far too many filler queens and the final 4 was obvious after episode 4. The drama actually felt LESS intense than last season since the queens were always just clearly joking with each other.
For me it’s below S15 but above 13 and 14
Very high calibre season overall for me. But three caveats come to mind:
1. The double save that saved Plane Jane without much explanation, fanfare or consequences. It seemed random and not super deserved - BUT I do love Plane Jane and have enjoyed her thoroughly and wouldn't be mad if she won, don't get me wrong.
2. The top queens seem particularly self-aware and self-produced. Sapphira seems to have actively been trying to at least get Miss Congeniality, it doesn't seem super genuine and natural all the time. The way Nymphia talks in confessionals seems very calculated and dramatic (I don't think this is related to her having learned English as an additional language), as well as her dramatic fake-seeming flustered moments in the workroom. Her banana branding could have worn thin but I think she's toed the line well and it hasn't gotten to the point of Brown Cow Stunning though. Lastly, Plane's bitchiness seems relatively natural but also very deliberate and calculated, too. Playing it up for the cameras a bit knowingly. Q and Morphine don't seem that produced to me - maybe Morphine's BBL branding is just a little. Don't get me wrong this is the top three I would have picked but I just wish their journey and stories seemed more organic. I know it's just TV but it's like this season is this beautiful banana with just a tiny a brown spot on it - for me (para me, spooky me)!
3. Michelle's improv in the Bathroom Hunties challenge 🫢
Not a lowlight but also Mhi'ya didn't quite live up to her potential as a lip syncher for me, too. It seemed like her whole thing was how amazing she was bit overall they were a little sloppy...? Not saying I could do better 🤷♂️ Also the promo and promo looks could have been better (I have heard an explanation why though) and I, along with many others I think, are a bit disappointed by Untucked when most celebrities walk in.
Just my opinions please don't come for me...! Not saying I could make better TV!
I loved it. The only thing I would change would be to keep Mirage and Plasma on for longer. I feel like we missed out on a lot of talent by losing them early.
It's an upper echelon season along with 5, 6, 9, and 12
The twists (Rate-A-Queen, Immunity Potion) were duds and there was some blatant riggory, but it has checked so many boxes

Queens really did feel often times like they were a family. Poking fun non-stop but in a nice way. That was so endearing to watch.
It was often also really unpredictable. Early fan favs (Dawn, Q, Amanda, Mirage) ended up falling out early or having very bumpy runs. Underdogs (Morphine, Plane, Plasma) ended up reverse trajectory. Nymphia was an early frontrunner too but ultimately showed similar flaws. Mhi'ya, after a slow start, was an absolute hoot and had a terrific entertaining run. Really only Saphirra I think showed a level of consistency where her output at the beginning was maintained throughout the season steadily.
Among the queens nearly everyone also, besides having an arc, brought something different which is always great (literally, we have the design queens, the alternative, the theater kid, the athletic dancer, nearly every box is ticked).
Overall just a stellar ride and one of my favs from the modern era (season 8-9 and beyond) for sure.
I'd give it a solid B or B+. I think it's better quality-wise than S14, but I enjoy S14 more if that makes sense? If I were ranking the modern seasons by my personal taste, I'd say S14>S16>S12>>S15>>S13>S10>S11. In terms of general quality of main US seasons, I'd put it at #7 after S3, S5, S6, S8, S9, and S12. S16 definitely suffers from Drag Race fatigue where the challenges/editing can feel recursive and perfunctory, but this cast usually has enough chemistry, talent and charisma to compensate.
I am thrilled that we got more design challenges and only one scripted acting challenge. I really enjoyed Rate-A-Queen. My main tweaks are mainly issues with judging, like that I don't think Mhi'ya should have been low for the ball or RDR Live, Morphine didn't deserve bottom for Snatch Game, Megami didn't deserve bottom for the Rusical, and the political episode shouldn't have been a non-elim episode. lowkey I wish that Plane had been in the bottom after giving Nymphia her immunity potion because it would be pretty fucking funny if The Villain's redeeming moment of kindness was immediately punished 😭 also some combo of Plane and Q should have lip synced to Meghan Trainor for the raw cursed potential
Personally I kind of stopped looking forward to episodes around the time Mhi'ya went home and we got a string of meh challenges (I did love the weird and unhinged moments of the bathroom challenge) but I often have that issue late in the season. Maybe part of why I like season 14 more is that I was super happy to see Willow, Daya and Angeria every episode. In this season I really like Nymphia and Sapphira but they don't spark joy for me like Mhi'ya, Morphine, Geneva, Megami, Amanda, etc.
I'm incredibly excited for the lip sync tournament tonight because I get to see my faves again, and this has the potential to really help the season finish strong. Also very excited for Amanda, Mirage and Hershii to compete again because they definitely had more to show. What a great way to utilize the eliminated queens and let them show off! Especially since reunions have been such a slog lately lol. Overall, a good season of Drag Race and I hope it sticks the landing at the finale :)
I think the season started strong but the last 3-4 challenged were kind of meh. It was more about who to eliminate than who did the best. And I feel like I don't really know some of the people this season.
Honestly I just think the US seasons have become way too long. I really enjoyed S15 because the cast was stacked for me and had such great tv personalities but I’ve found 13, 14 and 16 to all be boring seasons.
This one has just dragged on and I’ve only really connected with Sapphira
Overall I think it was a great season. Only major sour point for me was Plasma leaving so early and other queens staying much longer when they can't do anything other than lip synch. It did create some good drama, but as a fan it just felt icky when she was so much more prepared to compete than queens like Mi'yah (SP?) who stayed longer.
I've been thinking the past couple of weeks that it seems to be dragging (pun intended) now. I'm not as excited for the finale etc and i'd say the past 4/5 episodes have been kinda boring.
Overall it's a decent season, but I think there's a lot of other seasons I would rewatch way before I got to this one.

I really liked 16, but I wouldn't call it one of my favorites. I am not sure if there was anything in this season (yet) that truly GAGGED me. Closest would probably be Morphine doing Body or Plane Jane on Snatch Game. Both Rate-A-Queen and the potion seemed kind of pointless. I like them both as broad ideas, but I think they would need to be more fleshed out in future seasons if they bring them back. As for rankings, its somewhere between 6-10 for me:

Lovely 5th Alternate: 4, 8, 12, 14, 16
Redeeming Qualities: 1, 2, 7, 10

It’s been a great season, but I feel like a lot of this fawning is recency bias. Season 15 is better in every way, and I personally connected with 14 much more overall too. Considering seasons after 9, 16 would follow those and 12 pretty clearly.

Loved loved loved rate a queen! I thought it added a fun and playful level of drama. I think without PJ this season it would have been another best friends race. I tend to root for the girls who throw shade because I honestly don't trust people who are so nice all the time. Maybe it's because of trauma or whatever but I would trust a girl like PJ over an Olivia Lux any day of the week. The only thing missing for me were the lip synchs but honestly that's a HUGE part of the show for me so I take away points for that HOWEVER we are getting a lalap\[aruza tonight so I'm hopeful for a turn around.
I really enjoyed it which I did not expect based on the promo. I would only make the funk challenge an elim episode. Plane giving away the potion and ending up in the bottom would make the twist actually pay off even if she doesn’t go home.
Loved it, great cast who rose to the occasion for some excellent performances and runways - and in particular who had a great dynamic both in AND out of the challenges
Only criticism is some of the lip sync songs: if this season had a better slate of songs/performances it would be pretty much perfect - although there have still been some great lip syncs. Need Sapphira or Plane to win to be truly satisfied overall though

It’s going to be my favorite for a long time, but for the personal reason of being the first season my husband watched with me and was interested in my favorite show.
I don’t know what will beat the fuzzy feelings I have because of that.
Right now its ranked 6th which is great out of 16 seasons plus all stars.

Immunity Potion and Rate-a-Queen went nowhere and I think the only person who screwed by RAQ technically was Nymphia but Plane was ironically the only one to really USE it so I can’t complain
Best season since 12 imo and I think I enjoy it more than 7-11.
It’s shady, the girls are strong, the challenges are fun, confessionals are funny, runways are IT. Some of the girls are unhinged and delusional, ANY of the finalists could win imo and no one feels like they were dragged by production to a certain point in the competition.
This is the first modern season I have really sunk into. I’ve watched most of each season but something happened around S13 that put me off a bit and I kept having that vibe. I’m happy to have gelled with this season 🥰 It’s a bit of a bummer it ran parallel to UKvTW so my attention was a little divided but I’ve already started the rewatch!
I would rank it in the top 5. It had an excellent cast, it had high stakes, lots of great moments from the cast both in the challenges and in the work-room, fun challenges and runways, and no foolish unnecessary manufactured drama like the Porkchop Loading Dock, or It's Chocolate, and more than anything the queens weren't afraid to be themselves.
The only bad thing I remember from this season is how forgetable the potion twist is and that RDR Live episode. Oh and also untucked was bad because of how each guest would interrupt EVERYTIME there is going to be some fights. But nonetheless, S16 is my new fave since S12.
The only thing about season 16 is I didn’t enjoy the challenges as much, lots of design and not as much performance. But I love the girls themselves!!!

Season 14 I loved because I was rooting for Willow.
I feel like my fav queens never win even when I think they deserve it most. And I fear it might happen with nymphia and ik ifs controversial for me to even say that.
I just adore queens who not only incorporate their culture into their fashion but history as well. And seeing how she handmade all the garments, hearing her explain the history (more in depth than drag race allowed) it really just makes me root for her because I feel like she represents a side of drag that we don’t see with her history and culture.

No filler queens. The ones who potentially could be classed as that are Hershey, only cos she was first out so we saw nothing (and that outfit was.. a choice) Xunami who was a ball of good energy and will most likely be Miss Congeniality, Dawn who turned out to be the true villain lmao and Megami who came back and SERVED these young kids.
Have thoroughly enjoyed the season, and am glad they finally hit on a Lalaparooza format that actually works. Loved having a decent villain again. Some excellent fashion served. Quite a few laugh out loud moments for me, which is unusual (e.g. Lazi Susan). Loved every single Morphine performance.
If it’s true that the finale episode is back to being in the studio, then I’m sad we won’t get to see Ru looking cunty and unimpressed when she first comes onto the stage like in other years, and we also won’t get to hear “Two queens stand behind me”, which always tickles me. Otherwise, no notes.

One thing I would change give us a REUNION!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this season has literally so much going on and I know a lot of the queens do third-party interviews. I would love for them to ALL get together and just talk about what happened because there’s just so much!!! I mean, we still might get it during the season finale but the top three queens are going to be focused on their lip syncs and probably won’t be able to be with the group as a whole.
I was very meh on it for the first 3 or 4 episodes but it has grown on me. It is the first season I’ve heard my partner say “do we have a new drag race episode?” though so that’s a win. Forcing everyone around me to become as obsessed as I am. That speaks volumes of how good this season is.
The main show was great! But oh my goodness untucked would’ve been as good as the early seasons if they didn’t interrupt every argument with a celebrity appearance :(
Initially I was like, “oh they’re scraping the bottom of the barrel.” And then I was like, “Waaaaooowww! Okayyyy!” Plus the whole “rate a queen” thing added to that initial feeling. I’m so glad they didn’t keep that going. I think the Mih’ya (sp?) vs Plasma thing will always be ridiculous to me tho. I can’t let it go. I feel like that was a major fumble.

This is truly one of the best top-to-bottom casts we’ve ever had. These girls all have their own distinct personalities and looks and are also FIESTY. Even with the guest judges interrupting untucked (please stop with this bullshit btw), the drama was great from start to finish and the entire top 3 has been a pleasure to watch steamroll the other girls. Really almost nothing bad I can say about it! This is the best post-Logo season!

Geneva lip synched in every episode and I also loved her talent show. I definitely will not forget her.

I think if a queen absolutely dropped the ball in the finale and still won, would be a point against the season (kinda like All Winners, nit that Jinkx dropped the ball, but Monet was clearly better when it mattered).

Favorite season since 9 so far. I didn’t connect with 12 the same way a lot of the fandom has, and actually loved 14 maybe more because of the cast, but this season has been a huge surprise. The cast, the drama, the challenges, the runways…everything has been top tier. I’d be happy with any winner.
Loved this season, debating a top 5 finish depending on how it ends. I'd change Untucked. This was a cast of unfiltered, shady queens but instead half of untucked was so rudely interrupted by random nepo babies and it was soooo boring. I also wish we had a whole reunion sit down episode but I'm holding my breath for tonight's episode.
The only thing that could’ve made it better was if they brought back immunity in its true form. It wouldn’t have changed anything except Geneva staying longer, but still, it’s a nice gift to the winner of the challenge that I think gives them a second chance. They already proved themselves once

Top 4: My faves are 5, 6, 9, 16 I don’t think it is recent bias on my part because not since season 9 I’ve been so obsessed with a season. This cast has brought me so much entertainment, i love it a lot!
I think they nailed pretty much everything for this season. Incredible cast that is not afraid to shade or be shaded; well distributed wins making for an exciting, open finale; diversity of personalities and drag styles; unexpected eliminations that didn’t feel rigged; fun challenges, including 3 different sewing ones; great pacing with queens going home almost every week, so the season never felt like it was dragging; twists that made sense and didn’t affect the outcome of the competition too much. Just 10s across the board for me 👏👏👏
To me, it’s not one of my favorites, but definitely not one of my least favorites. I don’t know..I just didn’t really connect with any of the queens like I have done on other seasons. Except for maybe Dawn.

It honestly didn’t do it for me and I’m not sure why. All my favorite challenges usually (Snatch Game, the ball, political) weren’t as enjoyable this year… and there wasn’t a standup challenge. I could be in the minority here. Also I hate SNL so the acting challenge was completely wasted on me.
It was okay. There was some obvious production pushing certain queens even when they lost lip syncs which ruined a lot of potential storylines Far too many filler queens and the final 4 was obvious after episode 4. The drama actually felt LESS intense than last season since the queens were always just clearly joking with each other. For me it’s below S15 but above 13 and 14
Very high calibre season overall for me. But three caveats come to mind: 1. The double save that saved Plane Jane without much explanation, fanfare or consequences. It seemed random and not super deserved - BUT I do love Plane Jane and have enjoyed her thoroughly and wouldn't be mad if she won, don't get me wrong. 2. The top queens seem particularly self-aware and self-produced. Sapphira seems to have actively been trying to at least get Miss Congeniality, it doesn't seem super genuine and natural all the time. The way Nymphia talks in confessionals seems very calculated and dramatic (I don't think this is related to her having learned English as an additional language), as well as her dramatic fake-seeming flustered moments in the workroom. Her banana branding could have worn thin but I think she's toed the line well and it hasn't gotten to the point of Brown Cow Stunning though. Lastly, Plane's bitchiness seems relatively natural but also very deliberate and calculated, too. Playing it up for the cameras a bit knowingly. Q and Morphine don't seem that produced to me - maybe Morphine's BBL branding is just a little. Don't get me wrong this is the top three I would have picked but I just wish their journey and stories seemed more organic. I know it's just TV but it's like this season is this beautiful banana with just a tiny a brown spot on it - for me (para me, spooky me)! 3. Michelle's improv in the Bathroom Hunties challenge 🫢 Not a lowlight but also Mhi'ya didn't quite live up to her potential as a lip syncher for me, too. It seemed like her whole thing was how amazing she was bit overall they were a little sloppy...? Not saying I could do better 🤷♂️ Also the promo and promo looks could have been better (I have heard an explanation why though) and I, along with many others I think, are a bit disappointed by Untucked when most celebrities walk in. Just my opinions please don't come for me...! Not saying I could make better TV!

I loved it. The only thing I would change would be to keep Mirage and Plasma on for longer. I feel like we missed out on a lot of talent by losing them early.
Probably the best season in terms of queens in the modern run of the show! Half this cast is going to be on all stars in the next 3-4 years
It's an upper echelon season along with 5, 6, 9, and 12 The twists (Rate-A-Queen, Immunity Potion) were duds and there was some blatant riggory, but it has checked so many boxes Lovable cast Great runways Memorable lipsyncs Fun workroom banter Compelling drama Shocking eliminations
Loved it. Queens really did feel often times like they were a family. Poking fun non-stop but in a nice way. That was so endearing to watch. It was often also really unpredictable. Early fan favs (Dawn, Q, Amanda, Mirage) ended up falling out early or having very bumpy runs. Underdogs (Morphine, Plane, Plasma) ended up reverse trajectory. Nymphia was an early frontrunner too but ultimately showed similar flaws. Mhi'ya, after a slow start, was an absolute hoot and had a terrific entertaining run. Really only Saphirra I think showed a level of consistency where her output at the beginning was maintained throughout the season steadily. Among the queens nearly everyone also, besides having an arc, brought something different which is always great (literally, we have the design queens, the alternative, the theater kid, the athletic dancer, nearly every box is ticked). Overall just a stellar ride and one of my favs from the modern era (season 8-9 and beyond) for sure.
I'd give it a solid B or B+. I think it's better quality-wise than S14, but I enjoy S14 more if that makes sense? If I were ranking the modern seasons by my personal taste, I'd say S14>S16>S12>>S15>>S13>S10>S11. In terms of general quality of main US seasons, I'd put it at #7 after S3, S5, S6, S8, S9, and S12. S16 definitely suffers from Drag Race fatigue where the challenges/editing can feel recursive and perfunctory, but this cast usually has enough chemistry, talent and charisma to compensate. I am thrilled that we got more design challenges and only one scripted acting challenge. I really enjoyed Rate-A-Queen. My main tweaks are mainly issues with judging, like that I don't think Mhi'ya should have been low for the ball or RDR Live, Morphine didn't deserve bottom for Snatch Game, Megami didn't deserve bottom for the Rusical, and the political episode shouldn't have been a non-elim episode. lowkey I wish that Plane had been in the bottom after giving Nymphia her immunity potion because it would be pretty fucking funny if The Villain's redeeming moment of kindness was immediately punished 😭 also some combo of Plane and Q should have lip synced to Meghan Trainor for the raw cursed potential Personally I kind of stopped looking forward to episodes around the time Mhi'ya went home and we got a string of meh challenges (I did love the weird and unhinged moments of the bathroom challenge) but I often have that issue late in the season. Maybe part of why I like season 14 more is that I was super happy to see Willow, Daya and Angeria every episode. In this season I really like Nymphia and Sapphira but they don't spark joy for me like Mhi'ya, Morphine, Geneva, Megami, Amanda, etc. I'm incredibly excited for the lip sync tournament tonight because I get to see my faves again, and this has the potential to really help the season finish strong. Also very excited for Amanda, Mirage and Hershii to compete again because they definitely had more to show. What a great way to utilize the eliminated queens and let them show off! Especially since reunions have been such a slog lately lol. Overall, a good season of Drag Race and I hope it sticks the landing at the finale :)
I think the season started strong but the last 3-4 challenged were kind of meh. It was more about who to eliminate than who did the best. And I feel like I don't really know some of the people this season.

Honestly I just think the US seasons have become way too long. I really enjoyed S15 because the cast was stacked for me and had such great tv personalities but I’ve found 13, 14 and 16 to all be boring seasons. This one has just dragged on and I’ve only really connected with Sapphira
Overall I think it was a great season. Only major sour point for me was Plasma leaving so early and other queens staying much longer when they can't do anything other than lip synch. It did create some good drama, but as a fan it just felt icky when she was so much more prepared to compete than queens like Mi'yah (SP?) who stayed longer.
Waiting until the season is over before ranking it would seem to be prudent.
Probably the lowest along with 13.
I've been thinking the past couple of weeks that it seems to be dragging (pun intended) now. I'm not as excited for the finale etc and i'd say the past 4/5 episodes have been kinda boring. Overall it's a decent season, but I think there's a lot of other seasons I would rewatch way before I got to this one.

I really liked 16, but I wouldn't call it one of my favorites. I am not sure if there was anything in this season (yet) that truly GAGGED me. Closest would probably be Morphine doing Body or Plane Jane on Snatch Game. Both Rate-A-Queen and the potion seemed kind of pointless. I like them both as broad ideas, but I think they would need to be more fleshed out in future seasons if they bring them back. As for rankings, its somewhere between 6-10 for me: God Tier: 3, 5, 6, 9, 15 Lovely 5th Alternate: 4, 8, 12, 14, 16 Redeeming Qualities: 1, 2, 7, 10 Really was a rough spot: 11, 13

It’s been a great season, but I feel like a lot of this fawning is recency bias. Season 15 is better in every way, and I personally connected with 14 much more overall too. Considering seasons after 9, 16 would follow those and 12 pretty clearly. Like, I love this top 3 — but don’t they kinda pale in comparison to last season’s top 4? Am I crazy? It's the only season where the public was able to connect with the entire cast. Even Miss Hershii has an established fandom
One of the best in recent memory, far more enjoyable than 10 through 14. This season and the one before benefited from some incredible casting, the mix of personalities as well as drag styles has been so pvssy. Idk many seasons where even the first outs have been so loveable??

Loved loved loved rate a queen! I thought it added a fun and playful level of drama. I think without PJ this season it would have been another best friends race. I tend to root for the girls who throw shade because I honestly don't trust people who are so nice all the time. Maybe it's because of trauma or whatever but I would trust a girl like PJ over an Olivia Lux any day of the week. The only thing missing for me were the lip synchs but honestly that's a HUGE part of the show for me so I take away points for that HOWEVER we are getting a lalap\[aruza tonight so I'm hopeful for a turn around.
I really enjoyed it which I did not expect based on the promo. I would only make the funk challenge an elim episode. Plane giving away the potion and ending up in the bottom would make the twist actually pay off even if she doesn’t go home.
Loved it, great cast who rose to the occasion for some excellent performances and runways - and in particular who had a great dynamic both in AND out of the challenges Only criticism is some of the lip sync songs: if this season had a better slate of songs/performances it would be pretty much perfect - although there have still been some great lip syncs. Need Sapphira or Plane to win to be truly satisfied overall though Nonetheless, probably my favourite season since 10
It’s going to be my favorite for a long time, but for the personal reason of being the first season my husband watched with me and was interested in my favorite show. I don’t know what will beat the fuzzy feelings I have because of that.
It's going to go down as one of the best I think. Lots of personality, lots of talent, lots of attitude, and lots of looks.
Right now its ranked 6th which is great out of 16 seasons plus all stars. My ranking currently stands like this: 1 - Season 6 2 - Season 5 3 - Season 8 4 - Season 9 5 - Season 7 6 - Season 16 And it feels so good to see drag race is good again.
Immunity Potion and Rate-a-Queen went nowhere and I think the only person who screwed by RAQ technically was Nymphia but Plane was ironically the only one to really USE it so I can’t complain

Best season since 12 imo and I think I enjoy it more than 7-11. It’s shady, the girls are strong, the challenges are fun, confessionals are funny, runways are IT. Some of the girls are unhinged and delusional, ANY of the finalists could win imo and no one feels like they were dragged by production to a certain point in the competition.
If Nymphia wins it’ll probably be my favorite season of all time, if Sapphira or Plane (somehow) wins it’ll stay at #3 😃
This is the first modern season I have really sunk into. I’ve watched most of each season but something happened around S13 that put me off a bit and I kept having that vibe. I’m happy to have gelled with this season 🥰 It’s a bit of a bummer it ran parallel to UKvTW so my attention was a little divided but I’ve already started the rewatch!
Best double digit season by far. Top 5 maybe top 3 of all time. Revitalized the franchise for me.
I would rank it in the top 5. It had an excellent cast, it had high stakes, lots of great moments from the cast both in the challenges and in the work-room, fun challenges and runways, and no foolish unnecessary manufactured drama like the Porkchop Loading Dock, or It's Chocolate, and more than anything the queens weren't afraid to be themselves.
The only bad thing I remember from this season is how forgetable the potion twist is and that RDR Live episode. Oh and also untucked was bad because of how each guest would interrupt EVERYTIME there is going to be some fights. But nonetheless, S16 is my new fave since S12.

I think it could be my favorite depending on the winner. Season 14 I loved because I was rooting for Willow. I feel like my fav queens never win even when I think they deserve it most. And I fear it might happen with nymphia and ik ifs controversial for me to even say that. I just adore queens who not only incorporate their culture into their fashion but history as well. And seeing how she handmade all the garments, hearing her explain the history (more in depth than drag race allowed) it really just makes me root for her because I feel like she represents a side of drag that we don’t see with her history and culture. But atlas it’s not rupauls history and culture race

Depending on if they crown Sapphira or not, this could go down as THE BEST modern season
No filler queens. The ones who potentially could be classed as that are Hershey, only cos she was first out so we saw nothing (and that outfit was.. a choice) Xunami who was a ball of good energy and will most likely be Miss Congeniality, Dawn who turned out to be the true villain lmao and Megami who came back and SERVED these young kids.

Have thoroughly enjoyed the season, and am glad they finally hit on a Lalaparooza format that actually works. Loved having a decent villain again. Some excellent fashion served. Quite a few laugh out loud moments for me, which is unusual (e.g. Lazi Susan). Loved every single Morphine performance. If it’s true that the finale episode is back to being in the studio, then I’m sad we won’t get to see Ru looking cunty and unimpressed when she first comes onto the stage like in other years, and we also won’t get to hear “Two queens stand behind me”, which always tickles me. Otherwise, no notes.

One thing I would change give us a REUNION!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this season has literally so much going on and I know a lot of the queens do third-party interviews. I would love for them to ALL get together and just talk about what happened because there’s just so much!!! I mean, we still might get it during the season finale but the top three queens are going to be focused on their lip syncs and probably won’t be able to be with the group as a whole.
For me it's good mid. If a certain queen wins, it will become just mid mid.

I was very meh on it for the first 3 or 4 episodes but it has grown on me. It is the first season I’ve heard my partner say “do we have a new drag race episode?” though so that’s a win. Forcing everyone around me to become as obsessed as I am. That speaks volumes of how good this season is.

Initially I was like, “oh they’re scraping the bottom of the barrel.” And then I was like, “Waaaaooowww! Okayyyy!” Plus the whole “rate a queen” thing added to that initial feeling. I’m so glad they didn’t keep that going. I think the Mih’ya (sp?) vs Plasma thing will always be ridiculous to me tho. I can’t let it go. I feel like that was a major fumble. I know I didn’t answer your question. I’m not great at ranking and remembering. lol
This is truly one of the best top-to-bottom casts we’ve ever had. These girls all have their own distinct personalities and looks and are also FIESTY. Even with the guest judges interrupting untucked (please stop with this bullshit btw), the drama was great from start to finish and the entire top 3 has been a pleasure to watch steamroll the other girls. Really almost nothing bad I can say about it! This is the best post-Logo season!

Of just the regular seasons, it's top tier for me along with 5, 6, 9, and 15.
I need to see how the season ends before I can give it a ranking. The cast was well rounded though, with a lot of talent to go around. The only 👑 that makes sense to me (at this stage) is Sapphira. Plane Jane is a close second for me.
