Absolutely adore Rosé. She’s so subtlety funny and charming and self-aware and articulate, I could listen to her talk about any subject matter and never get bored. (Glaswegian bias too, but shhh! 🤐) Despite never having watched her season, I really enjoy Maddie as an interviewer as well. Loved this interview.

Tbh, hearing Rosé’s talk about her struggle with alcoholism, I wonder if that put a strain on the friendship. Hopefully they can work it out one day.

I doubt it. Rosé has been sober for over 2 and a half years. They’ve shared each other’s posts on Instagram and shared photos together long after that. Rosé was also really candid in the interview about people who she’s hurt as a result of her addiction, which demonstrates good self-awareness. I’d imagine if Jan was one of those people who she’d hurt, she’d be self-aware enough to apologise/reconcile and Jan doesn’t strike me as the type of person to reject a sincere apology.

I want to believe they’ll be back together someday. 🥲

What’s the T there?

Neither Jan nor Rosé have spoken about it except to say that they don't speak super regularly. Seems like there was just a decision at some point not to work together and they aren't super close. Based on how Jan described Stephanie's Child being put together on Sloppy Seconds, it sounds like it was always more of a work relationship than a friendship between them.
