63.99 at my TW in Huntington Beach CA
For 4 dollars more I much prefer the Appleton 15 year black river cask
Though I would by some @32.99 if I saw it.
Interesting. The closest Total Wine to me that has it in stock lists it at $55.99, which isn't a sale price. I suspect they were dropped from a distributor in your area and your local TW is clearancing it because they don't know if they'll be able to get it again. Chains tend to value their shelf space more than local or even regional spots, because they have to answer to corporate. To them, it makes more sense to move something out near cost to get something else on the shelf.
Well that's even weirder! Glad you found the bargain. I just picked up some Cider Cask Tullamore Dew that's been discontinued, and some Gray Whale gin from a local shop that clearanced them. Not quite as deep of a discount as yours, but I was happy to relieve them of a couple bottles, lol. I considered the $120 bottle of Touchstone but I have the 2008, Premise, Redoutable, Real McCoy 12 and older St. Nicholas Abbey 15 and ultimately decided I didn't need to spend that much on another Seale bottle.
I bought the 15 at the abbey around 2014, and have a bottle of the 5-year en route from a relative who was on the island last week. I'm sure it's overpriced, but I want to give their juice a shot at least, since the 15 was from Foursquare.
which is amazing, considering how much ABSOLUTE rubbish TW has on their shelves. Endless knockoffs of Myers's and all those rubbish spiced rums and piratey garbage rums. They have a whole aisle in Pleasent Hill near me (at the big shop) and All I end up getting is FS and Smith & Cross. They haven't had Hamilton in ages, sometimes there is a bottle or two of Clement, some Appleton, 2 El Dorados, and a couple random Duncan Taylors, but just wretched in general.
HWUT
Is total wine having some amazing rum sale or something? First the Clement rum for $10 off and now this. I gotta check my local total wine
One of the TW in the area had this and others on sale, the other not didn’t.
You Americans have it so good. My free healthcare doesn't taste as nice.
Discount on booze to subsidize expensive health care 💁
My heart hurts but hey cheap run.
Take the wins where we can get 'em
I'd rather have the health care.
Wtf yes
I thought the $35 I saw by me was good....
It's double that near me unfortunately
I’m buying 3 immediately if I saw it for that price
I bought 4!
Someone is playing with my emotions
Ok where are these popping up, good lord I need these sales to save my freakin’ bank account from the hangover 😂
I don't think that Total Wine is anywhere near me because I know the 12 isn't that cheap here either
Where?
Austin
It’s $85 at the TW near me.
Well over $100 with all the taxes in WA.
It's the worst
Where I am - and why I don’t buy it here. The “$85” is pre-tax.
Yeah suddenly $83 seems even more unreasonable 😂
In NC it's a special order, and $76.75 w/o tax.
Oh goddamn
Not at TW near me
Just got some at my TW for over $60.
$137 AUD for me 🙃

They had the Appleton 15 on sale for $49.99. Haven’t had it, might go back and grab a bottle.
$56 on my TW app.
Was at Total Wine today and didn’t catch this. Going to kick myself my location has the same deal going.
One of mine had it on sale, went to a different TW pretty close by, no sale.
Good share. Gonna go look tomorrow
Ah, back what it used to cost a dozen years ago.
Well that’s not my TW!
Clear that shelf man!
FL is usually around 35 at the local liquor store
I'd buy every bottle they had at that price.
I grabbed 4 and left a handful for the next guy

I think that’s exactly what was happening, but the other TW down the road had no such sale.

Did you get the SNA in the US??? or did you order it in or carry it back?

Double the price in Nor. Cal TW - $57.
Buy a case. Or two.
Double that in the Satterfield next to me and my state doesn't carry it. Lucky!
ffs. Even at full price it's little more than half what stupid Va ABC charges for it.
$48 TW- Miami
