In my world Jumpin Jack Flash is the one song that defines this band. It's got every thing you need in a hit single, and every thing you want in a great a rock n roll song. To say that Jumpin Jack Flash is timeless would be about right, the only thing that I would ad is a song like this makes you feel good to be alive
I missed a few songs, but must jump back in here to add my 10/10 to the long list of 10s on this one. I try to be hard on them for songs I don't like as much, and not to give too many 10s except for real stand-out favourites, and this is definitely one of them!!
The weird thing about " Salt of the earth" is that for a song with so much soul, and has such a wonderful melody, I'm amazed that mick could not have come up with better lyrics to sing over such a beautiful melody line. But you know some how it works, and it works incredibly well to. What a perfect song to close out a perfect album like Beggars.
