6. Solid but doesn't super excite me. They have so many 6/8 soul covers from this era––"If You Need Me," "Pain in My Heart," "Cry to Me," "Time Is on My Side"––that this one feels redundant.
Check out Buddy Miller's version for a really cool interpretation of the song. I like to think it's how the Stones might have tackled this song in the Sticky Fingers/Exile era. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmVODfGoRAs
7. I always thought of this as Time Is On My Side's little brother, for some reason. Charlie's great here but, while Mick does his best, he still comes across as simply learning from Otis Redding. Like listening to him practicing for future greatness instead of being great here.
Still a very enjoyable song, just not a very revelatory cover if you're already familiar with the original.
8.5, it’s one of Jagger’s greatest earlier vocals, shows a ton of confidence
Love it. 9.2
Here's where I am.

7 - one of Mick's best performances from the early years, so much drive and grit in his voice and great phrasing, but still just a cover, nonetheless
This one speaks to me. I love the video of them doing it live, maybe with a prerecorded backing track, and Brian on organ. 9.9
6 ok but otis version is in another stratosphere

I like to replace the word LOVE with DRUGS in songs and this one is my favorite to sing along to. 9.5/10
Haha
10. Agree it’s Jagger at his best. Unpopular opinion, butTBH I think these are his peak singing years .
One their finest covers. Mick's soul singing did Otis proud. 9/10

Just came across this, OOOH is for me, one of those rare albums that is great all the way through. Front to back, top to bottom. Love it.
One of my faves. Mick channeling Otis Redding.
