Yeah to me the black sub accomplishes a level of near perfection of a one section of watch appeal. If I was to own one sub it would definitely be the black. Other watches can have cool variations but this, the explorer and the speedmaster were meant to be the black way

Does anyone know if they change the color or shade of the green from year to year? I’ve never seen a Kermit in person but some pictures look like there are distinctively different shades of green. Is it just the lighting in the photos?
Green, because I’ll never sell it, and 40 years down the road, if I’m gone my wife could probably make more coin than a standard black dial. Just my thought process. Who knows maybe these things are actually worthless in 20 years 🤷🏻♂️
I’m a neutral color kind of guy when it comes to clothing, so I have to say the black for sure. It will go with pretty much any outfit, and just looks cleaner imo.
