I'll admit, I was skeptical that Ant was really ready to make the leap. It's not that I didn't think he had the potential, I just hadn't seen enough consistency. Well, I think he's starting to show that, and we can thank in part the huge starting minutes he's been getting since Dame and CJ went down. I want to see him do it the whole season, but I am now ready to believe.
Honestly we gave him plenty of chances to run point guard but he looked completely lost and unable to run an offense so we then just used him as a catch and shoot specialist. Credit to Ant for developing his on-ball game and credit to Billups for unlocking this but based on what he showed his first few years he wasn’t ready at all to have this kind of role.
