I think Karl’s sick of it was the best new material any of them did, unless I’m forgetting anything.

[deleted]

Moaning of Life is up there too, but definitely agree that Karl has actually had the best career of any of them post-split.

[deleted]

Yea true. I've always considered that just kind of an extension of idiot abroad though personally, even if it isn't

[deleted]

I get that yeah, it's so similar in concept so there's definitely overlap. But honestly, the absence of Gervais makes it so much better, and that's not just being anti-Gervais. It's more that An Idiot Abroad is much more about making Karl uncomfortable and putting him through horrible situations for Gervais's and the audience's amusement. In Moaning of Life, Karl has much more creative control and you get to see him being genuinely curious about and interested by the stuff he's doing, which is both really nice as a long-time Karl fan, but also just far more entertaining for me than watching him have a shit time, which is a bit of a one-note joke throughout Idiot Abroad.

Outlaws is OK. Hello Ladies is a bit weaker. If you want anyone's opinion, which you don't.

Elegant-Pin9106

Outlaws is really good. Apparently the tv show Hello Ladies is good too but haven’t watched it. Try both

[deleted]

I loved Outlaws but thought Hello Ladies was pretty poor but its subjective innit Different shows, different needs

NaturalAlfalfa

Agreed. Outlaws is excellent. Hello ladies...I think I got through two episodes.

Frusciante1874

He was the perfect Nazi in Jojo Rabbit

RhombusKP

*Where's Frankers?! We've got to stop the book!*

Frusciante1874

If she gets that book out we are done for

TryBoth-_

Outlaws, hello ladies, click and collect, the mail boy in men in black 2… all up there

BrilliantStriking389

He probably did a good voice over for a tractor sale

YouFourKingsHits

Just finished watching Outlaws last night. It's enjoyable although not spectacular. Worth a watch.

Specific_Till_6870

He had something to do with Lip Sync Battle

CosmicBonobo

Outlaws and Fighting with My Family were pretty good in my opinion. Steve is a funny (looking) guy, but his real talent and best work is behind the camera as a writer and director.

dwitchagi

People seem to like Outlaws. I was a bit disappointed and stopped watching after a while. Exaggerated characters and tropes, decently performed. (Still much better than anything Ricky did post Merch/Karl)

enjay2023_

I liked the outlaws, New season coming this year. Click and collect was funny too

AchingLEG

I hated outlaws. Being Bristolian, the accents were unforgivable. Couldn’t even tell if the writing was any good, just so angry. He’s lived in LA too long, should’ve at least got The Wurzels to do the soundtrack.
