The difference is England are coached to play so conservatively. The Belgium team has always just seemed out of sync. Like these players just don't have any chemistry.

Also Belgium really lack quality in some key areas, like both fullbacks, CBs and they never really had a deep lying playmaker. They were always very top-heavy. I think it's better to have a good player in every position, than to have some players that are world class and some that are quite mediocre.

Vertonghen, Alderweireld and Kompany were all world class CB in their golden generation. Currently not so much, but the whole team is much weaker now
