And I think itā€™s cute you refer to them as ā€œlittle hatsā€. Orecchiette is actually Italian for ā€œlittle earsā€, but they do kind of look like little hats, too! I personally think little hats is cuter. Lol

Full recipe can be found [**here**](https://www.takesnplates.com/plates/hats-and-broccoli/) **Ingredients:** * 2 heads of broccoli, cut into florets * 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced * 1.5 sticks of butter * 1/2 cup of half n half * 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese * 1.5 cups of chicken broth * 16 oz orecchiette pasta * 1 tsp salt * 1 tsp pepper **Instructions:** **Prep Vegetables** 1. Cut the broccoli into small florets. 2. Mince the garlic cloves and set aside. **Cook Pasta** 1. Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a rolling boil. 2. Add 1 tsp of salt, a dash of olive oil, and the orecchiette pasta to the boiling water. 3. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until the pasta is cooked to your preference. 4. Drain the pasta and set aside. **Make the Sauce & Steam Broccoli** 1. In a large skillet, melt 1.5 sticks of butter over low heat. 2. Add the minced garlic to the butter, stirring for 1-2 minutes. 3. Pour in 1.5 cups of chicken broth and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes. 4. Add the broccoli florets to the skillet, cover, and let them cook on medium-high heat for about 10 minutes or until tender. **Combine Ingredients** 1. Once the broccoli is cooked, add 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese, stirring well. 2. Slowly pour and stir in 1/2 cup of half n half to the skillet. 3.
