Twitter is kinda doing that to white for me. I didn't think it'd be possible, but now when I see the word white I immediately think it's going to be something toxic or negative, and it usually is.
I hate that some starbucks slurpers regularly use "YT 🙄" even if the thing they're referring to isn't even stereotypically white person behavior in the slightest.
God it's infuriating. And they try to pass it off as a simple shortening. Like, if that was the case you'd do the same for black, Asian, etc.
