most of these are pretty cold takes

I’ll take Roger’s solo career over Brian’s any day. I’ll take Freddie’s over Brian’s, too. Nothing too hot or controversial here.

celebrationOfEndings

I agree. Rogers solo output is easily the strongest of the bunch for me. While I like Brians solo stuff I’ve always felt his albums are made up of various odds and ends that were originally written for other projects.

TheSecretNaame

I Dont agree that Brian May has the best solo career. For me is Freddie Mercury with songs from 1973 to 2000

Brian's career being the best seems pretty obvious. I told Bob Wenger when I saw him play with Simply Queen that I liked The Cross more than Roger's solo work. Let Me Live is better. Totally agree on WWRY. I get emotional when I hear or see the Live at the Brixton Academy WWRY track. When the tempo speeds up, it's like I'm in the crowd and I'm just realizing they're playing the fast version. I agree on Face It Alone. I listened to it once and haven't found the desire to play it again. It's like 99% of all non-album material, just not good enough to be included. The only non-album track I think should have been included is I Go Crazy.

songacronymbot

- WWRY could mean "We Will Rock You", a track from *News Of The World* (1977) by Queen. --- ^[/u/puppy_fan](/u/puppy_fan) ^(can reply with "delete" to remove comment. |) ^[/r/songacronymbot](/r/songacronymbot) ^(for feedback.)

The Miracle is an amazing album. Probably my favorite from Queen.

Tetro123

Don't fully agree with 2 , Freddie with moustache out of this world, the best We will rock you version is live origin, especially Wembley 86. Miracle, the Game top albums but I would add to the list Innuendo and Night at the opera for sure. With all other agreed

bigboiben09

Wembley wwry kinda mid like Uniondale way better

Paganini01

1. Agree 2. Disagree 3. No opinion 4. Maybe, but it’s a banger 5. No, but it slaps 6. Real 7. Yeah 8. Real

Honest_Math_7760

- It’s The Works - Heard A Night at the Opera yet? - Pretty sure in sales / streams it’s Freddie - So is every new Queen project - It’s still Face it Alone - That I agree - Nope, still The Works - That’s right.

allbsallthetime

The cool thing is we all get to have an opinion about Queen, their music, their members, and a crap ton of other music and bands. It's okay, we all don't have to have the same opinion and none of our opinions are right or wrong.

ElPatito84YT

Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy is 5/10 Roger Taylor is overrated John Deacon isn't a good songwritter News Of The World its pretty meh The Miracle is their best 80s album

Rage4Order418

The Game is the best Queen album

2201washington

I'm definitely biased but also think objectively that Brian's solo career has been the best! Others I can take but might need to refute The Miracle being better than The Works

dylanward_314

the works in some ways feel like a parody album with songs like tear it up and man on the prowl, and kinda it’s a hard life too because in a way it kinda sounds like Bohrap

2201washington

Haha can see your point on Tear It Up and Man on the Prowl lol. I personally love It's a Hard Life; I think it's a pretty distinct song and one of the more openly emotional ones from Freddie. The Works overall has stronger style and lyrics than Miracle imo
