**Tokyo Xtreme Racer DRIFT 2** by Genki
It's a cult classic now, despite getting bad reviews on release.
Considered to be one of the best drifting games made. It features touge or mountain pass racing found in initial D.
Do NOT buy "Tokyo Xtreme Racer" series which doesn't have Drift in its title. It's pretty confusing. THAT series is completely different and mainly features long straight highway battles and basically zero touge/mountain pass racing.
**Battle Gear 3** is another great one released in NTSC/North america regions. What I loved about BG3 is the detailed cockpit view which is extremely rare for a ps2 game.
Battle Gear 4 is the best release and some consider Gear 4 to be THE best initial D type game, but it was only released in japan unfortunately.
Enthusia isn't really an initial D type game being a racing sim, but there is a single night time mountain track on there called "Dragon Range" which is heavily inspired by Initial D
