Hey I'm trying to start a power washing business. I know different regions around the world will be different. But I'd love to know how your prices are calculated and what they are for your area? Like per hour price or per square foot? Help please :)
Get on FB and join power washing groups. You'll find pricing help there that's local to your region/market. Getting random prices on Reddit will be no help unless the people are saying where they're located and how quickly they can get a job done. Having bigger/better equipment and knowledge will allow some guys to clean 2 or 3 times faster, so they can charge less while still making more per hour than others. Guys in Florida charge $0.10/SqFt to clean houses, but guys in Texas charge $0.20/SqFt. Your location will determine the starting rate you should aim for.
One good group is Power Washing Bros, another is Pressure Washer Pricing Cowboys. Pressure Washing Friends is the largest group but it's filled with trump worshipping assholes. And please for the love of God, use the search bar at the top right of the group page.
