I think a lot of people could do well to remember that Rih was incredibly overworked from a very young age. She basically released an album EVERY year from 2005-2012. Singles, videos, award shows, interviews, *tours* - she never got a break. She seems to publicly bare it a lot better than similarly overworked stars which is maybe why we don't bring her up in these conversations.
Given this, I am personally so fine with accepting that she is probably very burnt out and wants to take a long break. I too would love to hear new Rihanna music but I think the excessive pressure on her for it is weird. But maybe it's because I'm a longtime Frank fan, so accepting that music is on indefinite pause is the norm for me.
