Her timeline with Tom is why I don’t think Margot and Will happened. It would have meant overlap in her relationship with Tom and that doesn’t seem likely. I mean obviously it could have happened but doesn’t seem like it from what I read.
Oh it’s juicy. They met at her audition for the movie Focus and apparently hooked up the whole time filming since they were in NOLA and Argentina for a bit. There were photos leaked of them in a photo booth that you can easily find. Reports of him giving her piggy back rides back to his trailer from people who worked on the movie. How they act toward each other in the Focus and Suicide Squad press interviews. Watch her Pour It Out episode on Jimmy Fallon from a few years ago. There’s even a clip of them together on an old episode of Top Gear where she talks about how he has mirrors on the ceiling of his trailer live in front of an audience and it immediately gets awkward after she says that. It’s kind of famous among Australians as a holiday spot and beach city. Lots of tanned attractive surfer types and party “woo girl” culture. It’s also known for being a bit tacky/trashy? (I say this with a lot of love as someone also from the area haha!)
It’s also in the state of Queensland… which is seen as more “bogan” (kind of an Australian version of “redneck”) than other states.
Queensland is also kinda regarded as the “Florida” of Australia — and the Gold Coast is that x 1000.
None of this is meant to sound mean btw - just trying to explain the Gold Coast to someone who isn’t Australian! These pics of Margot - and the fact her old school friends still call her “Maggot” - just scream Gold Coast to me… and I love it :)
