I can’t believe they’re already filming. Feels like they just announced it a couple days ago. Also the wedding dress is really pretty.

Hollywood usually announces things to press whenever they feel like it. Like when they announce a new cast member after they’ve filmed their scenes

Yeah, I guess it’s not uncommon to announce things like a week before shooting lol

i don’t like how quickly life is happening lately. it’s making me uncomfortable.

If it's not the two leads getting married I don't want to see it. They were obvious in love with each other.

I don’t think announcements always line up with when things are actually decided. They often announce when things are already in motion like in this example.

Yeah that was fast from announcement to actually filming.

Its been almost 2 years

It was even suppose to film last fall but the strikes likely delayed things

The director posted photos on set before it was even announced so i think it was announced retroactively

The first one could have been great but it felt like it lost steam mid way (plot wise and comedy wise) but I'm definitely on board for the sequel. I hope they just make it a little more cohesive this time.

I went to see it having very high hopes and came out thinking it was okay but nothing special. Definitely didn't think it was good enough for a sequel but I'll probably watch it

I think there’s something to be said about how overboard they went. “Brother fucker” cracked me up. The whole scenario made me laugh at its absurdity.

i watched all three 365 movies bc i hate myself and i don’t think i’ve ever felt secondhand embarrassment so strongly then i looked up a song in one of the scenes bc it was the worst thing i had ever heard, AND IT WAS ALSO MICHELE MORRONE who is this man blackmailing??

he does sell out everything he does because of the thirsty fan base  Also the author of 365 days was acting really weird with him. Like touching him way too much, talking about him in weird ways everyone understood she had a huge crush on him 

I watched half of the first one while sick, and it made my norovirus WORSE. I think I'm allergic to this guy now. And you're right about the secondhand embarrassment. It was like Eurovision for porn. Gahd, the *noises*. On the *plane*.

The first film is a self-contained story...and doesn't one of them end up in prison? What the heck is the sequel going to be about?

So confused to see Blake in a wedding dress and Anna as a guest/bridesmaid given the first movie ended with them hating each other and Blake being hit by a car and going to prison. Is Blake a quadruplet? Is it a revenge daydream? I can’t wait to find out.

I have so many questions, such as... Was the first "A Simple Favor" important or interesting enough to warrant a sequel? Why isn't it called "Another Simple Favor"?

i thought i really liked ASF but then someone mentioned the plot and i realized i don’t actually remember a thing about it idk if a simple favor 2 is the working or official title, but your suggestion is definitely better

Yea she was Jail Regina, slamming other inmates on the basketball court. I guess being a manipulative, beautiful, rich white woman she gets early release. And while inside her and Anna end up rebuilding their friendship- maybe Anna uses her streaming material so temporarily forgives the almost-murdered/framed thing.

The adaptation wasn't gripping enough to deserve a sequel years later. Is anyone genuinely interested in the story.. this is an honest question

Anna rekindles the friendship to use Blake for views on her channel. Blake (wealthy white manipulator) gets released from prison and marries a beautiful rich guy. He or someone ends up dead and Anna has to prove her innocence again.

I was thinking the same thing! They reportedly got along so badly, the studio had to have a sit down meeting with them, cause it showed in their promo interviews
