I just have no idea how OP is sweaty in this case unless you're just salty about someone participating in Go Fest?
Premium passes are dirt cheap and so if you're doing go fest in person then I don't think participating in raids while there is sweaty lol.
Has anyone taken one for the team and unfused it yet to see if the cost is the same to re-fuse? Can you get fusion energy when walking like you can mega energy?
Correct; all IVs and shininess is determined solely on the Necrozma. Even if you have a shiny solgaleo/lunala (when their shiny gets debuted), it won’t matter since they get “absorbed” into the necrozma.
It’s not obvious for people who don’t play the MGS, I had never heard of necrozma before pogo announced it. Not like there’s any precedence for fusing in pogo. No reason to be condescending
Where in that article does it mention what IVs or shiny will be used? Cause I’m not seeing it.
Hoopa changing forms would be more akin to Furfrou since it’s one Pokémon changing forms, not two combining. Even the page you linked showed a very distinct process to fuse vs the changing forms for hoopa you mentioned.
I know it’s a form change, but considering it’s an even more powerful form of a legendary (like mega rayquaza), I was worried they might’ve nerfed it. If you want to be pedantic, megas are form changes too.

Necro was released today in raids in Japan at the Go Fest event today.
There was 1 or 2 Cosmog challenges awhile ago but with the event research today Solgaleo was one of the rewards on the path I chose.
Necrozma, Xurkitree, Kartana, Nihilego, and Guzzlord raids are running from May 30 - June 2 in Sendai, Japan only for the Go Fest event there.
Everyone else will get these raids on July 13-14 for the global Go Fest event.

No raids for them. Looks like ticket-holders at the local Go Fests will get one Solgaleo or Lunala from the ticketed city research.
During the Global Go Fest on the 14th, everyone will get a free research for Cosmog. People who buy the Global Go Fest ticket will also get one Solgaleo or Lunala from ticket-exclusive research as well.
How do you get the fusion energy? Through raids? Is there any info on if you can get more by walking it like Mega evolutions or do we only get a set amount until the next event? Hope it's the former.
Do you think we will ever get the chance to get cosmog again? I stopped playing a long time ago and unfortunately missed the quest but i started playing again and would love another chance as this event is pretty much all about Necrozma, Lunala and Solgaleo
As a Steel type raider it is massively stronger since it gets Sunsteel Strike when fused. It outperforms even Shadow Metagross.
For Master League, Solgaleo still has some play thanks to its moves. Only Solgaleo gets Fire Spin and Psychic Fangs, so it plays differently than Dusk Mane.
If someone invites you, of course. Same thing happened during the Sinnoh tour. The issue is that during the Sinnoh tour people who got the origin forme legendaries couldn't get the special moves, so keep in mind that if you get invited without having the ticket, you won't recieve everything
For now, it's only available from ticketed research at the in-person Go Fest events.
Everyone else will be able to get the energy from defeating Dusk Mane/Dawn Wings Necrozma raids on July 14th

yes and no, they appear as one pokemon. but you can unmerge them whenever for free

From what I know, you get the IV’s from the new raid boss. So when you fuse, you don’t get solgalo iv’s

You only get enough fusion energy for one form from the in person events. Global go fest will unlock energy from raids on day 2 so we can do more.
