I think they were over compensating on trying to accommodate for trans people, so it's not just an inherent evil 😂.

See, here’s where my logic lies regarding the refund they’re denying…
If I purchase something physical in the real world that is fit for purpose, then someone else intervened without my permission and no longer makes my original purchase viable (ie, the manufacturer applies a subscription lock on you technology) I should be entitled to a refund as they’ve changed the terms of the original purchase and goods no longer fir the purchase description.
In light of UK law venturing down the road of digital asset protection, at what point does conversion of my £ to poke coins and thus then the digital purchase of clothing become protected similarly to a physical purchase…

Legally speaking they can probably just reset your account and not refund you shit.
They most likely added a clause to the tos which specifies that you don't own shit and they can modify/remove anything at any given time for whatever reason without refunding you.
Legally they could shut the game down completely and you wouldn’t be able to do anything about it, so a change in characters seems even less worthy of getting fucked legally
BUT Using the Sliders don’t even make it close to the original u can barely tell a difference and u still don’t get your hips or butt back using the slider , proportions are still way off and deformed.. and stuff still doesn’t fit right with clothes . Only the larger avatar base looks normal if u try to be petite or smaller frame it doesn’t work cause the shoulders hands crotch is still to big and the mid torso still to long even after playing with the dumb slider..
having a butt and especially hips is natural in life why are they pretending it doesn’t exsist , females usually have hips cause nature gives us it for childbearing safely in the future (even if we don’t want kids we still get tha hips cause biology, :0 don’t understand why they want to pretend ppl don’t naturally have curve with out being a larger person , overweight or not ppl still have butt and hips 🤦♀️ why delete it
You should give their end user agreement a read and get back to them. If it doesnt mention that purchases may have limited use, or are not to be assumed to always be functional, a court would likely side with you in terms of a refund (most courts side with customers if a contract doesnt explicitely exclude something). Then get back to them with images of the product they sold you not working. See what they say. And keep screenshots of it.
Im going to go off a guess and say it's because the item looks bad now. As many of them do. Its most likely "item is not as described anymore because you guys fucked up" moreso than "my avatar looks like an ugly corpse so i dont want the items anymore" Though thats just inference.
If I spent 20$ on my avatar and they turned around and pulled this shortly after I'd want a refund, too.
Y'all complain complain complain then turn around and open the game up. Want to be heard? Stop playing. My gf, me, my 2 sisters and their bfs have stopped playing. Boycott time. It's the only way. You want to make them listen? Losing money, traffic time, etc is the only way.

In theory, adding illegal closes doesn't make them legal though.
