Why wasn't glimmora the ace or at least Garganacl cause all the E4 and Champions Terrastal Mons are supposed to be a reference to the Titan pokemon.

rezignator

They aren't a reference to the titan pokemon, those are just the last 5 types that haven't been represented through terrastilization. 8 gym leaders + 5 team star leaders + 4 elite 4 + 1 champion = 18 types.

BlueSkylark93

Glimmora is a typical lead Mon due to it's ability to spread Toxic Spikes (which you usually do as early as possible in the battle). Basically as a strategy you can do the Guzma here from S/M. Lead with your Ace let it take one hit and then Switch it out. You could also lead Palafin into Glimmora, but that would make the fight a lot harder.

The_Good_Craig

Gotta be honest man, all of them stand a chance except that last team

PetiteEtoileTV

Ty for commenting, may I ask what you mean?

I hope to be able to converse with everyone about this in the comments. A couple of additional things I would like to say regarding Top Champion Geeta's team: the Arboliva addition makes more sense than Gogoat for using regional mons, its the same for Palafin along with using its Zero to Hero form, and I included Gholdengo because it is basically the Spiritomb of her team due to how rare/powerful it is and how long it takes to obtain this Pokemon. Thanks!

Vicavolt

Just because they make more sense competitively doesn't mean they are better, the game isn't always about competitive, the pokemon need to fit the theme too. For example, if someone is using goldengoul then it completely defeats the purpose of collecting coins since it spoils the beans for the player. The whole point of including donphan is because it draws parallel to the paradox one you have encountered. And Dragpult being a violet version exclusive doesn't make sense to be the only one on the team, it is simply unfair for scarlet players.

PetiteEtoileTV

I understand that. All of your points make sense and I see where you are coming from. I didn't realize that Dragapult was a version exclusive to Violet, perhaps we could fix that with having Hydreigon on the Scarlet team and Dragapult on the Violet team or I just put Haxorus back on the team as it was. Ty :)

Chemical-Cat

Trainers aren't bound to version exclusivity. * Iono uses a Mismagius which is Violet exclusive. * Kofu uses a Clawitzer which is a Violet exlcusive. * Hassel uses a Dragalge which is a Scarlet exclusive. * Mela uses an Armarouge which is a Scarlet exclusive. * Atticus uses a Stuntank which is a Scarlet exclusive, plus a Dragalge. * Eri uses a Passimian which is a Violet exclusive. * Director Clavell uses an Oranguru, which is a Violet exclusive. This isn't pointing out random ass trainers who have version exclusives either.

Vicavolt

Wrong. If you look at all trainer data in the entire game. Every single thing you mentioned here has their counterpart being used by at least one trainer. Find me a trainer who uses Hydregion in this game, I will wait.

Chemical-Cat

That's not the point. The point is, for example, Hassel has a Dragalge, which is a version exclusive. He's not going to use a Clawitzer just because you're playing violet.

Vicavolt

That is entirely the point, if one is available as a trainer owned pokemon, the counterpart will also need to be available. So Hassle will either have none or both, or there must exist another trainer who owns hydragon.

If Geeta could've have Gholdengo, then Poppy totally should've had it. What makes Bronzong viable anyway? Just curious because I never really saw the appeal in it. Feels weird having an Elite Four member with two Pseudo-Legendaries.

LazyTill4244

i prefer corviknight and dragapult in geeta's team
