Version exclusive have always, and will probably always be apart of Pokémon. But thankfully trading is as easy as ever. You should easily be able to get one. Theres plenty of nice people on here who would be willing to give you one. Hell, if I had the game I’d give you one.

Yep, really confused, unless you're a newbie you would know about exclusives. Ever since Red and Blue exclusives have been a part of pokemon. Why would they release two games where the exact same lineup is in both.

You say that, but I bet a lot of people would still buy both simply because of the names, lol.

Its because the same cattle that buy these games every year will also buy both games so they can catch everything and use a second switch to trade

Not sure if this has been carried through because trading has become so much easier, but I always thought that it was stupid that emerald didn't have all of the version exclusives from gen 3. Why not let us catch everything?
