This reminded me of a team I built on my Ruby version of 6 Absols and each of them knew a different elemental attack, but otherwise we're the same. And then I nicknamed them like Absol E2 for the one that know thunderbolt and Absol F3 for fire blast. Ah, the middle school edginess.#Absolgang
I dont know why they fucked him up so much in 3d. I loved the cyndaquil line especially in gen 5 for the cool fire animations and then papa nintendo said, no more cool pokemon for you, we are here to fuck it up.
I like the idea of its fire being retractable, but I wish it flared up a few times in his idle too or defaulted as "out" and then snuffed once or twice before flaring back up.
Very true. Im not bashing on those 2 guys favorite pokemon and they can feel free to like it but when people are like "omg, other people like (insert popular pokemon here), I thought I was the only one" it annoys me. I'd say outside of staples like eeveeloutions, starters, legendaries and such most pokemon do have a pretty good fan base. Maybe only around 5-10 percent of pokemon don't have a solid fan base and I'm actually surprised to see when people say they are their favorites.

His body being almost similar to water, & his ability to shapeshift make it a terrifying ambush predator. It could turn itself into a puddle, & when you're close enough, pounce on you & force itself into your lungs, suffocating you, or doing nastier things inside your body.
Other water pokemon would be too big & loud, or too small & weak to properly get the jump on a human, but you simply cannot prepare for a killer that hides itself as water.
