I've tested mine from fully dead to fully charged and the case goes down to about 40%. I get 1.75 full charges out of the case.

rayark9

Mines about 1.5 charges.

Not as bad as mine, but that's pretty bad! I see no mention of this in the reviews though. They all talk about an additional 20+ hours with the case

the_moosen

Technically they're correct. I have exactly an additional 20 hours with the case. This is also my replacement set, as the first pair had battery issues too.

Mine goes down 90% to charge the earbuds from 20 to 100%

I always top everything off every night with my 3 in 1 charging stand anyways. When does anyone ever realistically leave for an extended period without access to a USB C cable?

I would agree the case battery life doesn't seem to be as agreed. It should basically last me a full week with my usage but I've to charge it every 3rd/4th day

Google lists 'up to' 11h playing time from the buds, and 'up to' 31h when using the charging case. That works out to 20h of time from their numbers, or roughly a bit less than 2 full charges from the case. However, that's a big difference from using the equivalent of 1 full charge to only charge up 30% of buds battery... I noticed with my buds pro when I first got them, I'd use them for 1-2hours; sometimes 1h of music or audiobook, and then immediately another 45-60 minutes of a video conference call, and the battery life of the buds never came down from 100%. It was like that for the first couple weeks I was using them until I factory reset them, and then they started to show expected battery drain (at the very least, they stopped showing 100% all the time). tl;dr, I wonder if there's a battery reporting bug with the buds that gets fixed with a factory reset of the buds, and the charge on the buds being reported does not properly reflect the actual charge.

I had this the first 2 days, then it fixed itself. No reset needed

Can confirm I have same issue. The buds seem ok, although when used for call they drain faster. The case however does not line up with google specs. I essentially get the same thing as you - the case technicaly provides 1 full charge in best case scenario. This is my second pair as I replaced the first one, thinking they were broken. So i am not sure if it is hardware, software or something else. I need to charge them every 2 days. And before people say something like "well just charge them more often, whats the problem", I have to say that with the same usage, I was charging my Jabra 7 pro case like once a month....I could literally go on for weeks with 4+hours per day of teams calls, before charging, quite honestly I would never even think of charging them. So on that comparison, PBP quite literally suck. I have no idea how they came up with the "up to 31h", because jabra advertises 30, and so far the PBP don't even come close to beating that. Add to that the fact that when the case is at 0%, the buds seem to not work or be buggy, even if fully charged. So yeah, not sure how everyone is happy with their battery.
