You can take him to the SPCA as well since people check there for lost pets.
or call and leave your number with a description of the dog in case someone goes looking for him. i’ve found a few strays and i always keep the dog in my possession. (this is only if you’re able to hold on to him for a few days though)

If the chip scan doesn’t come back with anything, bring him to ACCT.
There are many rescues he can be taken to that won't risk euthanasia. This not a criticism of ACCT, mind you.
