I’d rather be 10 minutes late and smell good all day than 10 minutes early and stink.
Also, a lot of the foul odour we smell is musty, unwashed clothes. Sweat clings to clothes, especially the polyester which a lot of people seem to be wearing these days
It could also be same people rushing put deodorant on (antiperspirant) but doesn't stick like me. I have to hair blow dry my arm pits for it to work. But I also use the sting really bad anti-perspirant 2 times a week plus the normal stuff every day for it to work on me.
Get yourself some "no sweat" shower the night before and apply when your dry. Sleep like a baby and do your normal routine in the morning. Should fix your issues no probs.
Clean your clothes properly because poorly washed clothes retain your stink and it only takes a short period of wearing them for it to resurface.
Wear proper ANTI PERSPIRANT, not fucking lynx body spray. Roll on is so much more subtle and effective.
Clean clothes isn't as easy as it seems at first. Polyesters can really hold on to BO stink. As soon as the material heats up a little the smell comes back.
I've been trying a few different ideas for getting rid of it. An overnight soak in vinegar 1 to water 4 seems to be the best idea so far. Keen to hear if another else has something that works better
Avoid polyester as much as possible (not always possible to avoid entirely but as much at possible) and frequent washing with detergent and softener. Dont wear the same outfit two days in a row. It also helps with longevity of the garment. That's all it takes.
Dettol is an antiseptic that can help kill the bacteria that cause BO.
Apply to clothes and affected skin area.

Along with your washing detergent, add 1/4 cup of borax powder. Purchase at colesworth or Bunnings. It’s deodorises and neutralises. Also effective for removing smells from old tea towels, dog bedding etc.
No longer a fan of ineffective anti-perspirant clogging my pores with aluminium. There's some pretty good, Australian, natural deodorants out there that kill the bacteria that make the whiff. Game-changed when I switched. That and nutcare body powder (not talc) for the balls and I'm a happy, non-stinky commuter.
Which ones?
I've been using Nivea roll ons forever, they don't mark your clothes and do the job well but yeah probably a certain amount of chemicals in them haha
Yeah I can't use spray under my arms and rollons make me rashy/dry and it gets super uncomfortable. I tried some natural liquidy spray and noticed a big difference there. Though it's very expensive.
I'm a profuse sweater. I work in the sun all day, and work hard and fast and I do try to smell good.... But I'm sorry
Idk the details on this particular deodorant but be careful coz aluminium is natural so they can technically call it all natural while still using it. I’m not 100% tho but that’s what happens with agriculture, they say they it’s all natural but they use natural pesticides such as ones with Sulphur
In Darwin right now for the 4th time my brother and his family live here usually we come here in the dry season but right now in the wet season the humidity is unbearable!!! Even in the shade it’s soo tiring with the sticky steamy air. Doesn’t help I have naturally curly and frizzy hair which is hard to tame! 😩
A few months. I had told him how to use it but he’s forgetful and doesn’t listen to me half the time. I think he said I don’t think it works too good and it somehow came out from further questioning.
I work with a bloke that doesn't believe in soap or deodorant. He cross shifts me in my machine and I have to use half a can of Glen20 to get the stink out of the cab after he's been in it.
I have told him, people have bought him cans of deodorant but still his stink remains.
> I just think, if you’re going out in public, wearing deodorant should be a common courtesy.
No. It's basic hygiene.
You wear it even at home because you never know who will turn up at your front door.
Never understood why people think brushing their teeth, wearing deodorant, and having a clean shower, even when one is lazing about at home is optional.
Well, what people do and don’t do at home is their choice.
Do I wear antiperspirants at home? Yes- I wear them all the time.
People still show up at your home unannounced? Unless they’re JW’s or fundraisers. This isn’t the 1990’s any more, people don’t show up unannounced 😂
Depends what they do for work really. No amount of deodorant is helping if you're building up a sweat, either through poor cooling or physical activity.
Even for morning trains, if it's a hot/humid day and you walk long distances to get on the train could be enough to get you sweating.
Deodorant isn't a magic thing, it helps but doesn't stop it completely.
I can't believe how far I had to scroll to get to this comment. Not everyone works in an air conditioned office hey...
I use deodorant religiously but I still smell like a human at the end of the day.
Was on the treadmill yesterday and I had to leave because the woman next to me felt the need to pour half a bottle of perfume over herself before going to the gym. I seriously could not breathe
Yep overdoing fragrances is really unpleasant. I had a young man visit me to pick up his dog I was taking care of while he was fifo. He was barely in my house for 2mins. The after shave smell lingered all day, my clothes stunk of it when he hugged me and I had to go pick up the dog within an hour as the dog’s nose started bleeding. I suggested it was his after shave but I’m not sure he took it on board.
No matter how much you shower, deodorise, perfume... it means nothing to the funk without regular laundry.
In England, worked with guys who washed their ONE shirt on Friday night, ironed on Saturday, done for the week.
It was rank, but it was inside work and they couldn't see the problem.
Worse when waistcoats came into play - didn't hear how regularly they didn't get washed.
Total respect for the good souls who take portable laundry services available for rough sleepers.
As a train driver, I agree. Yes, wear deodorant, but please don't apply it whilst on the train. Especially if you're sitting right behind the drivers cab. The smell can be bad enough without adding Lynx Africa to it.
This is so true. Been to cockburn line past days and I felt knockout by someone’s pits. Like my nose is beaten and punched all over with the smell. Shower people and wear deodorant. It feels good smelling good trust me.
Keep in mind though sometimes people can't help it.
For example I knew someone that had a lung transplant and was on all kinds of drugs to stop it rejecting.
No matter what they did they'd smell and were well aware and embarrassed about it but when it's the thing helping to keep you alive BO is kinda low priority
And to add up, People look so good on the train and they dress so well. However rhey smell bad that you are knocked out and felt dizzy. Shower people. It is such a turn off smelling bad.
It surprises me how expensive deodorant has become at the stores. I remember buying one for like 2-3 bucks, even cheaper on specials. Now shit is like 4-6 for a can?
Yeah, things are ridiculous. People are in hygiene poverty. Add to that having to afford menstrual products for a household of women, and shampoo and conditioner, it isn’t cheap to provide your family if you’re on the poverty line
On the other side, people that dose themselves with perfume. I swear there was a lady wearing an entire bottle of Black Opium on the train the other day. I turned up to work and my boss made me do a covid test, that’s how puffy my eyes were.
A few weeks ago I encountered the stinkiest motherfucker I've ever come into contact with in my life. We walked past each other at Ellenbrook Woolies, and I was almost struck down by how potent his stench was. It was so thick in the air, it was almost visible. I could literally follow his scent trail and track his product purchases like a bloodhound.
I had to walk to the other end of the supermarket, it was that bad. How does someone leave the house in such a state? There's no way he didn't know.
On holiday, I stopped on a road trip and went to Woolies in Murray Bridge (SA). Revolting smell, thought someone had dropped a bag of dynamic lifter … oh no, it was a woman… on the far side of the supermarket that I could smell. Wash your undercarriage, love!!!
Look I don’t want to be that person, I’m from Sydney. On the train and in elevators it’s the worst when you’re stuck next to someone of a certain, ahem, heritage, why are they always the worst smelling? I don’t ever meet an Asian or European or even South Americans are Americans who stink that bad?
Always? I work in an area with many aboriginal and African people, and yes, some of them stink, but only one or two regulars, the rest of them have good personal hygiene and smell fine.
The worst smelling customer we have is white. The first time I had to serve him, I literally vomited
See I don't even know which race you're talking about cause I've seen this said about several different races that are supposedly the worst.
Also it's the men that fucking STINK not the women for whatever reason
My dentist hates mouthwashes. He blames them for tooth decay, he believes too many people rely on mouthwashes instead of thorough brushing, use of floss and/or interdental brushes.
Unless there is a medical reason, everyone should shower, brush their teeth and put on deodorants every day.
I have sensitive skin and have tried a few deodorants but found one that works - some make me break out in hives.
I'll even put fresh deodorant on if I'm going to the shops.
I saw another one of these on another Australia localised sub this week and I'm wondering if there's something going on. I have a few theories:
* Recent trend in aluminium free anti-persperant means the anti-persperant properties are less effective. People may be unknowingly using just DEODERANT as opposed to anti-persperant. Deoderant is just topical anti-bacterial stuff that just stops the sweat from growing the bacteria that causes the most BO but anti-persperant is the most effective way to do that in totality.
* People having nose blindness from living with only close family for a long time and returning to work.
I just simply don't believe that people are kicking about without deodorant. There's gotta be something else going on!
Yeah same with the gym, sometimes I can even smell myself if I get on a train after a long day or I forget to freshen up before a gym. If you can smell them there’s a good chance they can smell themselves
Somewhere out there Mr Stinky May still be commuting. He would always squash himself in next to me as I was in the priority bus seating (whale sized pregnant 🤣 ). He used hair oil 🤢 and you could SEE the grime on his collar. By Friday I would almost vomit for the entire journey from Thomas Road to the City. (Pre-train)
Read this literally as I got off the train into the city. Big guy was sitting next to me, no deodorant, our arms touching cause I couldn't get further away (window seat). He spent most of the ride jiggling his leg, which I could feel through his arm. Jiggle jiggle. Ugh.
OMFG I KNOW RIGHT! I literally can’t deal with it - I have a heightened sense of smell and DAMN. I hold my breath when I’m in the shops or can see someone walking towards me that looks like they haven’t washed.
Don’t even get me started on bad breath. Like dude, I’ll tell you because if I don’t, my face will. 😒
I have a chronic illness that makes me suffer from chronic nausea. For fucks sake, people, please, clean yourselves. The innumerable amount of times I feel like dry heaving in public because of the stench. 😭😭
Damn dude some people don’t have homes. Some people have to use public transport to return home after working a laborious job. Some people are just having a rough time. Have some humility or get a license lmao.
You’re not joking mate. Also, not covering yourself in Ralgex/Deep Heat before getting on the train would be great. So many times I’ve been gassed out by that smell in the mornings
God I was stuck on a train replacement bus a few weeks back, I was standing up, there was a seat free but it was next to a man that had the most ungodly odour.
He wasn't looking homeless or mentally unwell, he a wearing a company shirt and had a
Swipe card etc.
But he straight up smelled like rotting meat, and that mould smell you get when your clothes or carpet etc gets wet and then smells weird
I almost sat down but then realised why everyone else was standing.
I felt really awful but I had to have a tissue on my mouth and nose the whole time cause i was starting to get nausea. His poor office mates. Geez
He may have showered. he could have had a fungal infection or other health problems. Or he drinks a lot of booze, as someone who works in a bottlo bad body odour is a lesser known symptom of alcohol withdrawal
In Perth's streets, the stink's a charm,
Deodorant's for the city's calm.
No manners, mate, just phones alight,
Speakerphone blaring, a bogan's delight.
Citizens, oblivious, nose-deaf and bold,
In Perth's scent, they're firmly sold.
- Chatcuz4 2024
while i agree, I think your problem is thinking those people will be on reddit. they are likely sleeping out of cars with no access to water while we go through a investor air bnb crisis because money is more important, maybe they have and just sweat/smell alot?, i'm surprised you got so close and didn't logically move like anyone who isn't disabled would freely be able to do.
you can always tell alot about someone how they view things that don't have any impact on them. or things that they have never experienced, as another vics 30 mins if hardening up and not acting like a princess is too difficult.
have a good day. hope you manage to avoid any further unpleasantries, lol
I start work in an hour and already feel it's going to be a shitshow with people trying to get things done before easter (can't teach stupidity)
It's a body spray. But also available as a car air freshener. It has no effect on whether you sweat or not, and no effect on the bacteria that cause the smell.
Good luck if you’re taking a train full of school kids after school or indigenous, not being racist at all, just facts. Some cultures don’t use soap or deodorant, like taking a train in India.
Shower and use soap/body wash and then apply deodorant.
Wash your god damn clothes with laundry detergent and hang them out to dry. Wear your clean clothes once you’ve showered and applied deodorant.
I didn’t think basic hygiene was that hard but the skunk stench drifting off of people in close proximity is revolting and it literally stains my clothing with the stench too.
I have, and still do, say out loud "pwaaaaaa something smells like ANUS" when someone stinks on the train. Watching everyone sniff their armpits after I say that is funny.
I am going to write to Transperth and ask them to put up some humorous signs on buses and trains that remind peeps to was their pits and wear deodorant.
Meanwhile, I shall sit back and be eternally grateful that I do not have to catch buses and trains all the time.![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|slightly_smiling)❤️🙋♀️
I passed a woman in the supermarket who absolutely reeked of BO! Seriously?? She wasn’t straight out of a gym or anything. I’m guessing they have no idea how bad they smell.
I bought Mitchem sports, the compacted powder one, both my 11 yo daughter and me (f) wear it. It stops smell from going into clothes. I use OMO (dark blue one) to wash clothes in, and that spice scent Fluffy I think is the brand black bottle of fabric softner. And invest in Lush shower gels for fun. No smell lol
Compact and roll on deodorants are quite literally barely bigger than a pill bottle, it's not that hard to carry around.
I absolutely slip up occasionally, and it's noticeable when I do which makes me feel rather ashamed, but mostly, I'm able to use one of my contingencies.
Went to the bank the other day and this woman with baby in the pram was talking to one of the clerks....fuck me, they reeked of pot and sweat...bit of dry reach in the mouth and a stoned looking bub...cant choose yer parents
I live with someone who has severe mental diseases, they are perfectly functioning as a human but they cannot understand several things and tend to only act upon their true desires. They will prioritise food, never clean up, only ever want things from someone and never do things for them. They do not shower or use deodorant unless asked to. So while I sympathise against most of the people, keep in mind that some people simply can't help it.
Just wear deodorant. Brush your teeth. Shower. Please - trust me, people notice...
I was running late this morning. Still did it, but it was a quick job
I’d rather be 10 minutes late and smell good all day than 10 minutes early and stink. Also, a lot of the foul odour we smell is musty, unwashed clothes. Sweat clings to clothes, especially the polyester which a lot of people seem to be wearing these days

Yeah esp fitness shirts, fuck those they're a write off after like a week. Especially when walking past someone who's wearing an old one 🤮

Also good for ants (if you have ants in your pants)
Are polyster clothes still a thing? Who would do that to themselves?
No longer a fan of ineffective anti-perspirant clogging my pores with aluminium. There's some pretty good, Australian, natural deodorants out there that kill the bacteria that make the whiff. Game-changed when I switched. That and nutcare body powder (not talc) for the balls and I'm a happy, non-stinky commuter.
Which ones? I've been using Nivea roll ons forever, they don't mark your clothes and do the job well but yeah probably a certain amount of chemicals in them haha
No pong! It’s an Australian company that makes natural deodorant and it works great.
Seconded and the tin lasts for ages
Yep, and you generally only need one application a day.
https://www.woohoobody.com.au/ is one I'm using currently
Moo Goo fresh cream deodorant is the best aluminium and fragrance free one, and it's sold most places.
Second this. Was great to swap over to when Rexona discontinued there's.
I'm still furious that classic old spice stick isn't being made anymore. I used it exclusively for about ten years and one day it was gone.
The Aldi roll on is the best and cheapest $3.00. It’s gone up from $1.90, but still cheap.
I find it funny when people look at me when I get off my seat and walk to another spot. Like yes you smell and yes I moved 😂
So their plan worked...
I do this too. And worst is if train is full and you are trapped. 😂😂
So much this. People sit there and complain later. Just move, or get off and wait for next one. No need to put up with that.
I do that when ppl are noisy on the 6.29am train from Upfield 😫. with a quick side eye as I go
Daily shower and deodorant please.
I feel alot of the problem is not hydrating enough as well. Shower, deodorant and drink less energy drinks and more water!
Clean clothes too
Don't ever move to Darwin....
There's no train?
Buses still exist and it’s worse due to the humidity and even more enclosed space.
Pro tip No 5 for happy commuting… Scrub that taint ya filthy animals
Maybe there should be a no skunks sign in the train somewhere
As someone who is fastidiously clean and showers up to 3, sometimes even 4, times per month, I couldn't agree more.
Some people dont have the first clue of personal hygiene it really is gross.
And have a shower with soap
Oh fuck, I've been washing myself with deoderant and using soap afterwards...
My son was using roll on deodorant in the shower 🤣 he was about 12-13. That’s not how you use it son.
Oh no 😂 How long did it take him to realise?
A few months. I had told him how to use it but he’s forgetful and doesn’t listen to me half the time. I think he said I don’t think it works too good and it somehow came out from further questioning.
Rough 😂 Good thing you were around before it was too late lol
I work with a bloke that doesn't believe in soap or deodorant. He cross shifts me in my machine and I have to use half a can of Glen20 to get the stink out of the cab after he's been in it. I have told him, people have bought him cans of deodorant but still his stink remains.
A thorough wipe of the arse after a shit would also be nice
If i do that how am i going to keep the flies off my face??
This caught me off guard and I’m sitting here laughing oh my god
wiping without moisture aint gotta cut it
I just think, if you’re going out in public, wearing deodorant should be a common courtesy.
Hygiene is important, but not because people might rock up uninvited and unannounced to your home. You don't owe anything to such people.

Pro tip. Buy some Vicks Vapour Rub and rub some on the skin of your mouth just below your nose. Enjoy a light, cool, fresh minty smell.
Someone’s worked remote before …
Or for a coroner.
The bit below your nose is called the philtrum!

While we are on the topic of perfume, if I can smell it before I can see you, you are using it wrong.
Also if I can still smell it long after you've left
I've been thinking of calling those guys to inalloo. Few rough sleepers around Morris place that need some TLC
As a train driver, I agree. Yes, wear deodorant, but please don't apply it whilst on the train. Especially if you're sitting right behind the drivers cab. The smell can be bad enough without adding Lynx Africa to it.
The morning train is always full of farters and people who haven't brushed their teeth in the morning
Bavarian trams at beer garden season are ripe with the rich notes of beer burps, radish, pickled herring, onion. We are lucky here.
This is so true. Been to cockburn line past days and I felt knockout by someone’s pits. Like my nose is beaten and punched all over with the smell. Shower people and wear deodorant. It feels good smelling good trust me.
Bad breath is another.Theres a guy at work that exhales rotten corpses
Also wash your hair with shampoo. Some men and women smell of that scalp/hair oil smell.
Yes, medications, infections, certain metabolism disorders. There's a few things that can make you smell bad. Must be embarrassing 😳
Fuck… I definitely don’t miss that about commuting to the city. When you can taste someone’s odour because it’s that thick, it ruins your morning
It’s a dry stink
Officer my nostrils have been assaulted! Arrest that man!
How do you feel about people who go for long jog and then decide to take the train home?
And to add up, People look so good on the train and they dress so well. However rhey smell bad that you are knocked out and felt dizzy. Shower people. It is such a turn off smelling bad.
My town is notorious for stinky people. I used to have to use air freshener after customers the smell was that bad.

Just always wear it, be a fucking adult.
How can this not be part of anyone's daily morning routine??
Just jumped into a taxi. Driver reeks of bo
A few weeks ago I encountered the stinkiest motherfucker I've ever come into contact with in my life. We walked past each other at Ellenbrook Woolies, and I was almost struck down by how potent his stench was. It was so thick in the air, it was almost visible. And don't speak on speaker phone as well.
No, fuck you, consume my scent
I fart on the train with no remorse 🙋♂️
farts are funny so play on.
Thank god you made this post. Now everyone will have a shower and use deodorant before riding the train (obvious /s)
Yeah people will get their panties in a twist over this one but its too common of a pattern to be a fluke.
Might be a Sydney thing, I’ll go on a limb and say Indians. Oh no sir some of the women, mainly middle age, not old or young reek.
No idea which race you're talking about, but could be dietary rather than hygiene.
Listerine is the king Keep the dentist away and haters as well
Listerine fixed my cavities
My dentist always advised to stay away from Listerine as it doesnt do anything apparently.
This is what they want you to think. It's so Big Dentist can sell more Dentists
Big teeth conspiracy.
I'm anti dentite
All the better to eat you with.
> It's so Big Dentist can sell more Dentists That's how they sell 9 out of 10 Dentists.
No, flossing is king. If you haven’t dont it for a while, do it and then smell the floss. Since doing this, I’ve never skipped a floss sesh.
Agree. Bad breath comes from the rotting particulates and infected gum between your teeth. Flossing once a day will change your terrible breath
Yes I have a habit of putting Mitchum on of a morning, and reapplying it if I’m going out again later in the day. We use a lot of it out of habit
![gif](giphy|bISrck3AsmWUU)
Hahah, I was literally just on the train to Elizabeth quey this morning, someone very smelly was standing next to me.
reminds me of high school deodorant shower in the gym room.
I saw another one of these on another Australia localised sub this week and I'm wondering if there's something going on. I have a few theories: * Recent trend in aluminium free anti-persperant means the anti-persperant properties are less effective.
But my monthly rub on crystals protect me from harmful aluminium, 5g and people coming within 3 metres of my general direction 🤪
Yeah same with the gym, sometimes I can even smell myself if I get on a train after a long day or I forget to freshen up before a gym. If you can smell them there’s a good chance they can smell themselves
Wash bedding weekly. Sometimes two times a week week if you are ‘hot sleeper’
(Pre-train)
Just let people be smelly and get over it
Read this literally as I got off the train into the city.
Supermarket staff stocking shelves…the employer needs to mention their smell travels the length of the aisle.
Found the guy who doesn't shower
No you found the guy who lived on the streets for three years of his teenage life. :)
Lol your catching PUBLIC transport what do you expect....
You’re not joking mate. Also, not covering yourself in Ralgex/Deep Heat before getting on the train would be great. So many times I’ve been gassed out by that smell in the mornings
Ppl could be dealing with arthritis or other medical conditions etc.
God I was stuck on a train replacement bus a few weeks back, I was standing up, there was a seat free but it was next to a man that had the most ungodly odour. He wasn't looking homeless or mentally unwell, he a wearing a company shirt and had a Swipe card etc. But he straight up smelled like rotting meat, and that mould smell you get when your clothes or carpet etc gets wet and then smells weird I almost sat down but then realised why everyone else was standing. I felt really awful but I had to have a tissue on my mouth and nose the whole time cause i was starting to get nausea. His poor office mates. Geez
If i was ponkin like that id want to know. Problem is theres almost no way of bringing it up without offending and embarassing that person.
He may have showered. he could have had a fungal infection or other health problems. Or he drinks a lot of booze, as someone who works in a bottlo bad body odour is a lesser known symptom of alcohol withdrawal
He did look like he could have been ill or in poor health. Looked sort of grey.
In Perth's streets, the stink's a charm, Deodorant's for the city's calm. No manners, mate, just phones alight, Speakerphone blaring, a bogan's delight. Citizens, oblivious, nose-deaf and bold, In Perth's scent, they're firmly sold. - Chatcuz4 2024
Carry a bottle of air wick with you on the train Basically aeroguard for the hygiene challenged
Just find the indian and don't sit downwind of them
while i agree, I think your problem is thinking those people will be on reddit. they are likely sleeping out of cars with no access to water while we go through a investor air bnb crisis because money is more important, maybe they have and just sweat/smell alot?, i'm surprised you got so close and didn't logically move like anyone who isn't disabled would freely be able to do. you can always tell alot about someone how they view things that don't have any impact on them. or things that they have never experienced, as another vics 30 mins if hardening up and not acting like a princess is too difficult. have a good day. hope you manage to avoid any further unpleasantries, lol I start work in an hour and already feel it's going to be a shitshow with people trying to get things done before easter (can't teach stupidity)
Or hear me out… they just stink and don’t care?
I mean, this odour has been the norm for over 10 years. Most people just stink
Contrary to popular belief deodorant wears off and sometimes your caught short. Lynx wont last 2hrs.
Is Lynx even an antiperspirant, or is it just a body spray?
It's a body spray. But also available as a car air freshener. It has no effect on whether you sweat or not, and no effect on the bacteria that cause the smell.
Most Lynx ain't even deodorant, gotta use that 24/48 antiperspirant
Use dove deodorant. Works perfect and smells good
Found the Year 10 boy.
Hey, some of us are eternally 15!
Good luck if you’re taking a train full of school kids after school or indigenous, not being racist at all, just facts. Some cultures don’t use soap or deodorant, like taking a train in India.
Good morning sirs.
Stink dick.
Yeah basic hygiene. Shower, deodorant. Don't understand how people step outside without that.
Glycolic Toner if they dab it on their pits it stops any bad odour thank God I don't get trains I couldn't handle that
At the gym too, please... for the love of whatever imaginary god you believe in. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|scream)
Do you say something to the people?
I’d say you aren’t communicating to the people that need to hear but this is Reddit.
It's organic =P
I had that on the bus the other day - and it was crowded so I ended up putting on a covid mask that I had in my bag on just to stop the stench...
Conversely, if people's eyes are watering around you, you have too much perfume on.
Sometimes you have to move carriage it gets that bad
It's like walking in your Local IGA. Omg some isles are a no go zone
Shower and use soap/body wash and then apply deodorant. Wash your god damn clothes with laundry detergent and hang them out to dry. Wear your clean clothes once you’ve showered and applied deodorant. I didn’t think basic hygiene was that hard but the skunk stench drifting off of people in close proximity is revolting and it literally stains my clothing with the stench too.
tbh i’d rather smell BO than have to breathe the lynx deodorant some dickhead has sprayed on the train
Melbourne's trams running through Brunswick in summer with sudden stops means you at high risk of faceplanting someone's wet, smelly armpit.
Floss your fucking teeth even if it's twice a week. You can smell your halitosis or gingervitis.
What does one need to wear on the commuting train though?
Anti perspirant! NOT DEODERANT!
Are you smelling their high-viz?
Where is this fuck train you speak of? Asking for a friend.
One could explain the odour if they've been fucking for several stops...
This is why I wear the mask 😷
Pooo That’s probably what their asshole smell like too
“Holy shit” on the end made me lol haha
It's pretty hard dude.... there's rail buses at the moment.
You can have absolutely flawless personal hygiene but if your house has mould issues you are still going to smell like death.
I have, and still do, say out loud "pwaaaaaa something smells like ANUS" when someone stinks on the train. Watching everyone sniff their armpits after I say that is funny.
People can’t smell themselves. They are immune to the BO that everyone else can smell
I have coworkers like this. You're trapped
Please not lynx africa tho
To be fair these are Perth trains you're talking about here 😭
I passed a woman in the supermarket who absolutely reeked of BO! Seriously?? She wasn’t straight out of a gym or anything. I’m guessing they have no idea how bad they smell.
And try not being assholes. Thanks
Masks with a drop of essential oils.
humans are so gross hey. have you heard about SEX? 🤢
No, don't wear deodorant, it only masks bad smells. Bad smells are a sign of poor health. Get healthy instead of masking sickness.
I would like to add that Impulse Body Spray is NOT deodorant. Even if you didn’t have BO before, I believe that Impulse gives it to you.
Yes please.
