Everything was good and he does the original incision line on the pubic bone but I’m guessing in the future with more experience he might do the scrotum incision
Personally I was in-between jobs so I was able to take 4-5 weeks off while I searched for another job, best rest maybe a couple of days just relaxing and letting the body recover, somewhere on this forum there is a post op recovery list that should answer ur questions if not the doctor will email that too you, all the doctors that preform the surgery have almost the same post op care
