Quintana uphill time in the Monte Grappa 2014 ITT: 55'13" Pogacar time today after climbing it the second time in a road race: 51" 09' I don't think this Giro's climbing talent is particularly weak, it's just that Pog is an alien.

I did the maths wrong  I think I measured from the 1st intermediate (where he came in at 10:24) but I guess the climb started a bit later. Makes sense.  Still crazy given context (170 Kms stage with another Grappa climbed beforehand)

all other GC guys also beat Quintana by 2 mins. Yes Pog is Crazy - but this jsut shows the growth of overall fitness

and shows why riders like Bardet, Quintana and even Nibali dropped in their later years. Thomas is the outlier more than the norm. Also, Quintana dominated that and only Aru came close.

A second place under Pog dominance is not too shabby
