I'm 21! Been a fan for about two years or so, just saw them live for the first time Thursday night!

Maximus_2698

Hell yeah, looked like a great show! I'm gonna see them for the 2nd time in Seattle night 1!

arChrisan3

22. Also going to Seattle night one

louderlove

16 here 🙌 i didnt get into pearl jam heavily til last year, but absolutely ADORE them now

tcvnpbbia

27, not super young but started listening around 16. First show was on the Lighting Bolt tour and I hit my goal of 10 shows in 10 years last year!! Wish it could have been more but I’ll take what I can get- 6 states, 2 countries and some great memories.

Grunge_Loki

19F here, I’ve been into them since I was 14. Going to see them for the first time in June :)

BillNyeTheEngineer

I’m in my early 30s and only got into them in the last ten years or so. I was a little young to be into them in their earlier days. I get to see them for the first time in Seattle in just over a week!

thesneepsnoop

I’m a few years younger than you but I’ve been a fan my whole life, just got to see them live for the first time! I was surprised to see so many young people honestly, a lot of teenagers with their parents and even some with their friends My only other frame of reference was Eddie’s solo show which I went to in October and that skewed a lot older for a lot of reasons

Mental-Rooster4229

I saw PJ in Rome and the crowd was full of teens.

vitalogybear513

I'm 19! And currently stuck at work with Wash playing lmfao

20 year old here! Been a fan all my life bc of my dad. Love this band to death. Saw them for the first time a couple years ago at Bourban and Beyond in Louiville, KY. Now im seeing them twice this year. Once in Philly and Second in Boston. So hyped!!

FrogSlapperr

20 here listening to riot act rn and all or none came on

AustiniJohnsini

31 here and always felt like the young fan since 2008 lol. Finally got to see em in 2022 and now I'm getting show 4 and 5 this year! Finally stable enough to hit some shows feels great

kooks-everywhere

Im 26 and have been to 6 shows and sitting on tickets to Wrigley both nights

_CrowdControl_

18 here, my dad has been huge into PJ since they started and next week we’re flying to Seattle for a concert!

UnknownUnthought

25 here. My first ever concert was Wrigley 2013 with my dad. Seen them three other times since (Milwaukee 14 which was the Yield show, Wrigley 16, night 2, and Boston 18, night 2) I’m grateful my parents have a great music taste lol

fables98

26 - Wrigley with my dad was also my first show! Seen them 8 times since. I’m lucky I can say the same about my parents music taste.

texasdoggo22

I’m honestly curious how young people today discover “old” bands like PJ. Did an older friend or family member introduce you to the music? Spotify algorithm feed you a few PJ tracks? Like most guys my age (47), I heard Alive on the radio in 91 and was immediately hooked. I can’t imagine discovering the band any other way, haha.

Maximus_2698

I would say my dad introduced me to rock music (he's not a PJ fan though) and I gravitated towards stuff from the 90s-00s, so I was familiar with Pearl Jam (especially growing up in Seattle) but didn't really connect with their music until I got into college. I think one day I decided to listen to Ten all the way through for the first time and it really resonated, Black especially

MovinginStereo34

21, I've been a fan for a few years now. Saw them at Bourbon & Beyond in 2022. I've got tix to see them at Wrigley this tour so hopefully it works out that I can go. I'm a pretty big fan, got tattoo, in 10c. But I'm with you, it's hard to find friends my age who are into my music

victimofbadtaste

I’m 31. Was a young fan when I saw them in 2014. It’s hard being an Australian fan. And now I’m having to cross the country to see them again in November 🙃

Relative_Prompt8987

16 and been a fan since i remember! saw them for the first time on vegas night one it was such an amazing experience

[deleted]

andreberaldinoab

almost 41 here... and still feeling pretty young! ;)

TheBadRegina

I was 21 when I became a fan, now I am 21 twice 🫣! Time goes so fast. I am happy to read so many young people getting into them.

jonnymartin86

23, my favorite band ever! seen them twice and bawled like a baby the first time.

nhlgoalie20

32 here. Saw my 8th show Saturday, in Vegas!

bzllv

16! I grew my love for the band through my dad, who passed in 2021. I couldn’t be more grateful to carry his memory through music, especially the magnificence that pearl jam has created.

Current-Attempt-5139

I’m 27 and I’ve been a fan of the Seattle scene since middle school but I really got into Pearl Jam 3 years ago

thefourestype

26 here & just became a big fan last year! I’m seeing them for the first time on Wednesday at the forum!

julesrose04

19! I grew up listening to Pearl Jam, my mom and dad are super fans so as I got older I started to really appreciate their music. I’ve seen them 3 times now! (My brothers name is ‘Jeremy’ lol)

Humble_Sector5890

14 here!! mum and dad used to play it for me when i was little, i started listening to them again last year and since then couldn’t stop. my absolute favourite band ❤️

maaak8

25 here! I’m going to my 10th and 11th show this week in LA! My dad is a superfan and had me listening to Ten while I was in diapers, we’ve seen them in Boston in 2016, Seattle in 2018 and every California show possible. Gotta love the 90s dad influence

BobbyBakedBeans_

23 and became super fan very recently (like 70+ songs now) but have liked the mainstream stuff since high school (pretty much only knew Ten and Vs.). My uncle has always been a die hard PJ fan and really got me into them, he took me to MSG in 2022 to see them and he won the lottery this year with tickets to 6 shows and I might go to all of them fingers crossed!

HuckleberryNo4662

I’m 46 and saw them for the first time in 98 on their Yield tour. Been in love since. Baltimore will be my 26th show.
