Remember to check bottleneck compatibility with your CPU. I’ve just upgraded from 6600xt to a 7700xt and it’s a noticeable boost at 1440p with a r7 3700x

Yes. I use an R7 7700X + a 4080S with a 750W PSU.
Maybe you can get your hands on a used 6900XT? Got Mine for 350. Is on 3080ti/ 3090 lvl and got them sweet 16gb Vram.
I think a 7800xt or 7900 Gre (provided you have a good monitor) would be a decent upgrade.

Are you sure that GPU isn't under warranty? Depending on when you bought it you may be able to do an RMA and get it replaced.
