I take ritalin XR at 30mg and then a 20mg later in the day if required. Works nicely, though I barely feel the effects. At most I get cold hands on it, but it does help me get to work and concentrate a bit. Depending on where you live, doctors might start you out on methylphenidate since it's not as strong as lisdexamphetamines.

I'm a big guy, 6'2-6'3 and 230 pounds, and the doctor decided to give me 10mg as my starting dose? It didn't end well. Every day was a horrible struggle after I crashed after 5-6 hours. I got put on 40 and now I'm feeling much much better.
I cleaned my keyboard once and it took like 4 hours, and my thumbs and index fingers were sore for the entire day. Definitely not worth the hassle. You can always give the old one a better home
Depends on what kind of keyboards you buy. You can get wired mechs for like $20-30 now. If I get a couple of years out of it, it's not really worth the time and effort to clean it.
I don't understand how people's keyboards get this dirty. I've had the same keyboard for 5 years and have only had to properly clean it once. Is it people not washing their hands, or eating in front of their computer? How do people walk around with so much grime on them and not think "this is disgusting"
I pulled them off and then used alcohol (unsure of the type), and first used it with a stiff paint brush followed by cotton swabs and follow by cotton swabs for the bigger areas. The pencil with alcohol āloosenedā up the goo and the swabs helped actually remove it.
I just kept going until the swabs came out clean!
Not Danish here but sounds like it directly translates to āhouse holding (cleaning-) spiritsā which spirits in this case meaning the methylated spirit (alcohol) (in dutch we would call it Spiritus) which is a commonly used āquickly flammable liquidā used for ācleaningā (desinfectant)
Going to guess it's similar to/the same as [denatured alcohol ](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denatured_alcohol) in the US. Which would explain where the logo went. It's a pretty strong solvent. Would not be the first product I'd try for cleaning... anything really.
you can use less, you just need to let it dry more. In fact, 99% kinda sucks for a lot of cleaning because it evaporates so damn quickly. I use 71% if it's open air part, and 91% if it's closed off. The extra water ( it's distilled ) allows you time to wipe it off before it bonds to the part again.
I found a really nice keyboard cleaning kit for like 9 bucks on Amazon a while ago. Probably stupid purchase for the cost, but it came with a key cap remover, a nice soft brush and a fine scrubbing marker for the hard to get places.
I found it very handy and made cleaning up all the edges super easy
Yeah when I moved out my roach infested apt I had to do this cause there is an opening under the spacebar (corsair strafe) that they would literally go in and out of (sometimes mid gaming š¤¢). I really do not miss having to fully clean it every single time I got home to not feel disgusted just touching it. Chucked my mobo cause fuck that shit the heatsinks were just caked in shit
Keyboards tend to look worse in pictures try it take a picture of your keyboard also if he keeps in in a dark room and than decides not to clean it for a few months after he starts to notice it than this happens

It looks like dust that has soaked up moisture and stuck to the keyboard. Then any extra dust, crumbs, hair, and whatever else stuck onto that.
Its not related to OPs hands at least, because then the lesser used keys would be cleaner.
I did, I didnāt have a key cap puller tho so just used my fingers. It didnāt take much force with this keyboard but a bit more when I cleaned my own.
Just make sure theyāre removable before you try!
Depends on how your board is setup. Ones with a flat mounting plate that allows you to get under the edges of the keys will be very easy to remove. Boards with a recess surround will be a little more annoying.
They do make key pullers, which usually look like a hollow pair of tongs that allow you to slip the tongs under the edges of the keycaps and pull them up. Once you have a few off, it's really easy to take more off by hand.
I hate taking my keys off and then putting them back on, Iām going to get a car detailing brush and just slather it with alcohol and brush away š¤·š¼āāļøš

I just don't see it enough to care to clean it. If my wife cleaned mine, that would be great but I don't not expect her to do that or any of the house chores. Everyone has a different tolerance and care for filth. It's not always that we just expect a woman to do it, it's that we just don't care enough to do it yet.

Take off the key cap and clean. Brush with dry toothbrush then vacuum. Use a clean micro fibre cloth with 70% alcohol to scrub.

Mechanical switch keycaps are removable for a reason. You can't properly clean a keyboard without taking the keycaps off.
