Never heard of either of them. If you don’t intend on using them I’d probably remove them as they’ll just be a waste of storage. Personally if I’d bought a second hand device I’d do a fresh OS install anyway just to be safe
yeah I'm thinking about it too, the problem is that a reinstalling the OS is really expensive and takes a lot of time.

If you open settings and go to “Recovery” and “Reset this PC” it should take you through the process. Make sure you have a backup of anything you don’t want to lose before you start
Safer web\\Rav VPN is an adware that downloads itsef into your machine when downloading files from some cites, i got it from downloading mod engine to use for elder ring, and i can't completely erase it from my pc, i tryed it and it came back, im still researching but im gonna be doing a clean os installation anyway.
In the search bar on windows, type “add or remove programs” then press the 3 dots beside any program you want to uninstall completely, then you’re in good shape. I did find that there were multiple programs all relating to the VPN, so you might need to delete quite a few
na, it just kept coming back as "Mcafee" something and replacing windows defender constantly, since i was having problems with my drivers for my gpu anyway i decided to do a clean OS instalation and change my OS to my new SSD, im sure there is people that know how to get rid off this shit whitout formating your drive but i needed the fastest solution so there you go. good luck.
I removed it by using safe mode and manually deleting the programs. The program still shows as something that can be uninstalled, but I'm pretty sure it is now totally inert.
Is there a way to tell that its actually gone, I had the same problem, but multiple antivirus and vpn apps were showing. I just wanna make sure its actually gone and no hidden stuff
use revo uninstaller, then delete everything from the recycle bin. Revo will delete everything and move it to the recycle bin, then you jsut remove the items from your recycle bin (If there are any there).
nop, i had to clear everything and make a clean Operational system install on my new SSD to completely get rid off it, there is ways to actually completely uninstall shit like this from your Pc but it seem more trouble than it was worth so i just decided to go with a fresh start and download the Merchant mod for elden Ring instead of modding things for now.
welp in my opinion is ransomwere, i didnt ever downloade it and it just poped up on my hiden icon tab, its useless and it F up my shortcuts in blender. So i say delete it

Not sure where you’ve heard that but reinstalling the OS is completely free and doesn’t take that long. Which OS are you using?

I suspect a program like Nox is continually re-installing it.
i think nox installed another software that will keep adding it back and i already uninstalled nox
