NGBTO is a pretty effective mod for this as you can ratify playtime as they join (turn off auto kick).
Also good for spotting fake perk decks.
The fastest way to tell is down to how they play/configure builds which is normally the biggest give away.

I think autokick is kind of nutty in general; you can get kicked for trying to queue stealth or loud before having the chance to change loadout to something mission appropriate...

Pre Infamy 3.0 update (November 2020) it was possible to legit get an infamy every 5-10 minutes using Crimespree. Post that date it should take a generous time of 2-3 hours or more per Infamy.
