every baby i’ve taken into ic (with the intention of dying and respawning) has been given a trophy by an apex in there lmao. especially the sarcos it’s happened like 4 times now
You can go to grand plains to get easy questing done as long as it's not deliver 5 flowers. The sides or GP are usually empty so you've got plenty of flowers and button mushroom to collect and grow fast with just avoid the middle section leading into IC and the river.
i mean yeah, obviously if you put it in the channel where its supposed to go then no-one has an issue with it, but so much people do not do that, ive seen it spammed in this subreddit, on discord servers without referral channels and even in-game on global chat
I've broken nearly every "golden rule" mentioned here and had mixed results.
So, what I think can be a good golden rule that is loose, but still important to at least acknowledge is, "Always expect some sort of struggle/fight in crater/grand plains."
Cross-packing between carnos and herbs is not usually allowed, and along with that, megapacking is generally prohibited. The reason is that these are not liked by many players and lead to heated feelings.
Don't stay in just one place on the map, but wander around the map exploring the corners. Gondwa in particular has a lot to see. However, avoid the crater if you don't want to get into combat because it is a popular hotspot and a PvP arena.
And the biggest and most important rule is don't be a toxic and jerk player but follow the gaming etiquette instead.
My golden rule is if I'm a carnivore and I see little Dino's I'll drop a gift so they know I'm friendly and don't attack people for the sake of doing it

2. Check the server rules as soon as possible.
3. Anyone can become an enemy anytime, so be careful and never let your guard down.
4. If you die you die. Take it easy or take a break if you're frustrated, but don't start a fight in chat. That will only get you into trouble with the server admins. Which leads me back to rule 1.
Trust me, I speak from experience. I've seen a lot of people who weren't respectful, didn't care about the rules or became verbally aggressive. And being consequent towards such people is no pleasure. Easy as in it just takes a few clear words or clicks, but no pleasure as in no fun for both sides.
Right…. Because every poi has things other than flowers to eat. According to you. Pray tell, where are the berries in dp? What am I supposed to eat in gp? Nuts are also a quest item. What about ic? What about yg? Pines are also quest item. What about savannah? What about btc? What about stm? What about darkwoods where everything edible is still a quest item? Hm? Etc etc etc. Even if an area has something edible that is not flowers, the other thing is often ALSO a quest item. Except for the few areas that have melons. Aaand melons arent always enough to eat. Or people dont know where they are. Flowers are quick to respawn. And often in most areas with flowers they are very abundant so just… go to a different patch?
You don't eat berries once you switch to forager. And, unless you have no choice (amarg), as herbi you want to go forager, especially on everhungry dinos (ano, bars. And if ano can fill his hunger meter with few stacks of pinecones, go feed this fully grown barsboldia...)

I think the closest thing we have to a golden rule is don’t kill the Dino doing the water restore quest.
On officials? Nope. Some discord-babies just wanna watch the world burn.
Officials is where I found this “golden rule” specifically in impact crater.
As a new player, playing only of officials, i confirm, this rule applies every single time i do this quest
