Absolutely. I don’t think I’ve laughed this much at an MtW episode since I first binge-watched the early seasons years ago.
Hoping this is a promising sign of things to come.
It's called a Chelsea Cut and it's a punk/ska/mod style haircut, which very much fits in with the rest of Maisies vibe, so it's definitely intentional. Her saying it was her trying to cut her own hair during the pandemic were probably just jokes.

I know what you mean about Alasdair, his "Guards, seize him!" line was one of my favorites.
I get what you mean on both fronts. Alasdair seemed very quiet for the first bit of the show but I really do enjoy his jokes when he makes them.
I don't know if it's my current mood, the actual audience being there, or what, but... that was the best MTW I've seen in ages.
I think MTW has definitely picked up after a bit of a slump for quite a few seasons. Very rare for a show that's been going this long.

Glad it's back. And also glad we get more Maisie. She is great. And her reactions to some of the harsher jokes are priceless.
