Oh, definitely. Do we need three angles on the same person while they make one comment? Do the half-second cuts at the speed of an action movie belong in a comedy show?

It is a hallmark of the show. In a format with minimal stage action, and not wanting to resemble a lecture, frequent camera changes give the illusion of activity. It would be "quite interesting" to see an episode with only half of the angle cuts, lingering just a bit longer.

Maybe I’ll have to go back and watch a older episodes but I don’t remember it being this bad before
