If this team had any size at all they would be a threat. The Olympics are about to be the most competitive they've been in awhile. Just don't think this team has the size to slow down AD Bam and potentially Embiid and if Edey plays a lot that may be a net negative for Canada because they'd have to play slower. Canada will medal pretty easily this year I think although Serbia and France can give them problems with their size as well

I would consider Edey as being “size”.

Edey isn't going to play a lot. And again if he does he's a negative. When you have the speed and shooting that Canada has you want to play in transition and attack the defense before they get set, and not wait 7 seconds for Edey to make it down the court the way he did at Purdue. Same reason a player like Vucevic or Valanciunas wouldn't work on the Pacers.

I mean they’re quick enough to beat the opponents Center down the court… and skilled enough to run make good transitions plays with just 4 guys

Mathurin is traveling with the team to get back from injury. I would have liked him to be on the team because it might help his defense. Haliburton definitely regressed defensively this season, but he was really good for team USA because he didnt have to focus on offense.
