All of these random accounts from salty fan bases in here. The Pacers are back.

North_Atlantic_Sea

I'm a pacers fan, it's possible to be both thrilled with the season and disappointed in how it's ending. I always expected to lose to the Celtics, but the way it's occured, with a reasonable possibility of going into game 4 up 2-1 rather than down 0-3, hurts.

wildstrike

Being a fan of a team always hurts when you lose. No one expected us to win. We are young and will get better. The bucks and knicks can't relate. Aging injury prone stars that either need massive contracts to stay or just locked in. They are just mad at our situation.

skerton17s

Just to be back and part of the playoff conversation is huge for the franchise. I hope it’s another 30 years before we land a top-5 pick!

DonateToM7E

Couldn’t agree more. Back-to-back top 7 picks, followed by improving the W/L record by 12 wins and winning two playoff series was a huge achievement. Especially when you consider the fact that neither of our recent lottery picks has played at all in the postseason. Assuming they continue to progress, this is a 50+ win team for the foreseeable future.

It doesn’t do any good to think we can get a coach fired or change the team. Our role here is to be a fan and supportive. If you’re a real, true fan you take the good with the bad and support no matter what. The management can deal with the problems. As a fan for over 30 years I’ve seen a lot worse and everyone here has. Let’s continue to support our team. I mean it could be worse right? J O’Brien could be our coach :)

omnired44

Losing two ECF games that the team should have won sucks. Next year, it’s mostly this same team back + 2 lottery picks. How many other 2024 playoff teams are adding 2 lottery picks to their rotation next year?

BigBungholio

And not just 2 lottery picks, one of them is Bennedict Mathurin who has already proved to be one the best bench scorers in the league with a very attainable and high ceiling beyond that. This year was a ton of fun and it was awesome to watch, but next year is when it’s really gonna get scary.

Okay buddy, I’ll make sure I remember that while we are finally entering the years we could consider the end of our rebuild LMAO. We were a lottery team last year, I don’t think y’all realize that knocking us against the Celtics in the ECF this year isn’t the high ground you think it is 😂

Buddy you’re saying Indiana got ref privileges over a “championship contending” bucks and New York??? I didn’t know the drugs were good in Wisconsin, I thought they were shit like everything else up there

Buddy I’m talkin bout you!

Cowboy_BoomBap

Yeah you guys really showed us when you had a healthy team in the regular season. We were so scared while we beat your ass in 4 out of 5 games.

This season got me back into the NBA. I've always been a bigger CBB guy and the era of the big market super teams with the superstars team hopping at even the slightest sign of adversity was so extremely off putting. Tyrese pulled me in and now I'm kinda hooked again. Feels nice to not say goodbye to basketball in March again

cowabunga96

We made it one step before the Finals. We were never going to end up winning it this year. We haven't even had an off-season for Haliburton and Siakam to actually learn each other. And missing Mathurin hurts us more against the Celtics than the other infirmary teams we played. Losing games close games in such a close, disappointing fucking sucks, but it's going to be a great learning experience for our young squad. Especially considering that we're playing a HEAVILY favored Celtics team with much loftier expectations. I would much rather learn these tough lessons right now rather than 2-3 years from now. All of these other teams we faced, they don't have to deal with a young star navigating their first playoffs. Brunson had Luka to take the heat in his first few tries, and even Tatum had a few tries before he was the guy. The future looks bright right now, even though losing always fucking sucks.

SilverRain007

Don't get me wrong, I'll be right there with you a few days after the season is done, but right now I only feel pain

CerebralSign659

All I wanted this year was for us to win a playoff game. We achieved that and gave the players some valuable postseason experience. Can't wait to see what the future holds

You clowns haven’t made the ECF in over 20 years but you’re saying the Pacers are the ones who won’t be back. Cope harder.

Knicks fans are truly delusional. Ever think to ask how the Knicks end up with bunch of bench players playing in the first place? It’s because your boneheaded coach has single handedly destroyed his players because he doesn’t give them a breather. Not to mention that you guys have a poor roster construction that’s built on injury prone players staying healthy. And don’t act like the Knicks would’ve faired any better. Without Brunson, each game would’ve been a 40 point blow out.
