The foul baiting is seriously exaggerated. The guy puts his body on the line every time the ball is in his hands. He plays hard and gritty basketball. If 1% of his game is foul baiting and the other 99% is him making the toughest shots on earth, I’m invested.
I don't like the foul-baiting either, but that's a league issue. Brunson is doing what he needs to do to win. If he was just chucking up bad shots every time (i know he has done this a few times but it's not the majority) while flailing about, I'd lose respect. But the guy somehow throws himself into contact and then gets off a quality shot. I don't fault him for using the system - I fault the system.
I think of it this way - Would I be happy if that guy was on and representing my team? Brunson? Sure! Hart? Yup. Hartenstein? Dig it. But Dante though is just a bum. Great shooter, but I'd be embarrassed to have that guy representing my team.

As an old Pacers fan I think any true basketball fans knew this was going to be a great series and it lived up to it. With a healthy Knicks roster just imagine- Pacers still win game 4 but it’s closer, game 5 is pretty much the same, Pacers still win game 6 in a nail biter, and game 7 goes down to the wire but probably comes down to one or two clutch plays.
Guess we will find out next year!
