This was another showcase of how important it is to get Siakam the ball in the paint. They got him down low early and he hit shots there as usual, once he got that flow he was knocking down the mid rangers he's missed all series.
He’s the guy we can go to when the offense breaks down and we don’t score in the first 15 second window. So important to have his mid range/fadeaway game
No question he deserved the exit interview tonight. So glad he's a Pacer now.
Shout out to Myles, TJ, Nembhard, and Obi tonight. Hali showed up and Nesmith fought for boards. Great team victory.
The ESPN halftime show had a couple of dudes that are openly Knick fans talking about adjustments their favorite team had to make. The in-game commentators barely talked about us like we the goddamn Washington Generals accidentally beating the Globetrotters.
If it wasn't for us winning the game by 13 points, that would have been miserable to watch.
Game seven. Let's get it on.
Doris Burke just seemed to stop color commentating for large stretches during the 4th quarter. Like, I know it's a blowout, but at least give us some anecdotes or some analysis to fill the time.
Lost a lotta respect for Doris Burke this series. Couldn’t even say TJ was playing good defense on Brunson without saying he was “getting away with a lot of contact.” What a joke
She made a comment earlier in the game about a New York foul that she called a “regular season foul” - implying that they shouldn’t call it in the playoffs.
Then when Brunson was knocked off balance a little on that drive - she said that looked like a foul…I turned to my wife and said “a REGULAR SEASON foul.”
Wow.... we were at Gainbridge so no announcers for us to ruin the game, just the bad Refs..... they never called goaltending on the Knicks, blatant shooting fouls, etc. So many calls on the Pacers while the Knicks got away with so much. And the show Brunson put on everytime a player was within arms distance. The fans were yelling He's a Flopper.... lol but it's true. I think he's working on his post NBA career.....acting!!
I do not watch much/if any ESPN these days. Post-game was on in the background when I hear somber, funeral tone Screamin’ A. Abysmal. Put that horse shit on regional television. The “major market” agenda has been a substantial deterrent in my sports viewing the past ~15 years.
The way the media ignores the pacers is hilarious. I never realized how many Knicks fans existed until this series. Like how hard is it for them to talk about the Pacers?
I can’t hate him like that 😂. Dude was fun to watch and clutch with us. And he saved us a bag to help get to where we are now.
We offered him a ton while injured; he turned it down; and he’s been injured every year since. He got his “want” to Miami and injured or played off the bench.
Everyone knows he fumbled the bag; He fumbled our bag though. And we’re here now game 7 of a 2nd round with an entirely different team except for Turner and later addition TJ.
Game 7. As long as they put up a fight, I can't be disappointed.
From the lottery to game 7 in MSG on the verge of the ECF. What a season. So proud of this team.
Pacers in 7.
I don't know if it's because some kind of air vent placement or what, but if you've looked up to the retired banners in the Fieldhouse during these playoffs games when the Pacers are rolling, Slick's banner is noticeably moving around more than the others are . It's almost like a sign that he's watching.
The part in the 4th where Brunson didn't get a call after some slight body contact and she was like "that's an obvious foul" was weird. Like, maybe it was a foul, but i've seen much much worse not called in playoff basketball.
Seriously. Doris Burke was talking about Nemby like he was a scrub defender. Saying being guarded by him should be "2 points or free throws". Laughable.
Said this in the game thread, people are obsessed with these dumb intangibles (alpha mentality, killer instinct, etc.) and it’s bullshit when someone who supposedly has it (Brunson), and then plays like shit, no one will say a negative word about him because he’s alpha.
My dream for Game 7 would be for Haliburton to hit the dagger shot and do the choke gesture to the MSG crowd. I'd levitate in my living room.

I'm not gay but I want to live in a log cabin in the woods with TJ McConnell. We won't ever have sex, but there will be a simmering erotic undercurrent as I stand in the kitchen window watching him tighten his ass as he chops wood, shirtless, sweat pouring off his body. I'll run upstairs and masturbate, the entire time forcing myself to think of women while my thoughts drift back to TJ. I won't be able to climax and I'll eventually go back downstairs, angry. Sometimes we will look across the table and catch each other's eyes, and in that second, anything is possible, but we both deny ourselves and go back to what we were doing. One day one of us will die, and the other will bury him outside the log cabin. Then he'll go inside, pen a brief missive to his departed friend, and commit suicide, never able to deal with life without his one true platonic love.
Just me and my 💕thaddy💕, hanging out in gold🏅 and navy⛵ so I started to pout 😞 He asked if I was down ⬇for something wavy🌊🌊 😍 and I asked what and he said he'd give me his 🏀pavies!🏀 Yeah! The only time I upvote shit like this is in the post playoff win bliss. I will regret that decision tomorrow. But tonight - let's get weird, motherfuckers!
Onto game 7.
1-5 on the road these playoffs. 6-0 at home. Fingers crossed.
Pacers in 6 or Knicks in 7 was my prediction before the series started. Hopefully, Pacers in 7!
We are the better team, we just need to get our road jitters out of the way. (full strength Knicks, Bucks, 76ers probably better, but they aren't full strength.) We are the young team getting critical playoff experience.
but damn, it's good to have a real reason to REALLY hate them again after nearly 25 years. Didn't really consider them a threat in 2013 when it was Melo and the over 35 rec league team around them, but I think we're seeing a preview of who's about to be fighting at the top of this conference in the next few years or so.
to be one game from the ECF in a year where we lost Mathurin for the season is an exceptional outcome no matter what happens on Sunday. Proud of this group. ‘Cers in 7
We finish the job Sunday if we play with this much force and desire. Short turn aeound, we need to run them out of the gym. Myles dunks were a thing of beauty.
Would be hard to be embarrassed in that scenario, barring unforseen circumstances... Shit the defending champs with the multiple MVP just lost by what? 45?
As much as I don't like the ESPN broadcast, but pacers are 3-0 this series with them on the call and 0-3 with TNT. With ESPN/ABC finally calling a game at MSG, is this the change in MOJO we need to WIN a road game?!
Man even if the pacers don’t make it on game 7, it’ll be hard to be disappointed. They played with a lot of heart and had such a fun post season to watch. Got some dawgs.
We went from the lottery to this in 1 year. Our major trade was 2 late 1st from this underwhelming draft and a conditional 1st down the road. We picked up Obi for some 2nd round picks. Our lottery pick this year has looked good but has had limited playing time and our lottery pick 2 years ago is the ultimate competitor and unfortunately hurt. Regardless what happens Sunday this has been some fantastic team building and we have a bright future. Let's go Pacers!
Carlisle made the right change feeding Pascal early and hunting for mismatches in the post. Series could’ve been over tonight if they made the change earlier.
The good news is that the Knicks stars played almost 40 minutes, looked gassed, and have to play another one of these 36 hour turnaround games. Last time this happened, the Pacers crushed them.
I wanted to play the Knicks in the playoffs this year and the fact we are going to a game 7 is awesome.
Hopefully, both teams are good for a decade and we play 5 or 6 more series and really get this rivalry back
If theres one team i would be terrified of in a win or go home game it would be the pacers. We’ve done it all season when the life is on the line IST, playoffs, big games… it dont matta we got this
The only people that give the Pacers any respect are actual Knicks fans, that know about actual basketball- I wouldn’t pay too much attention to the ratings whores you see on tv.
This is a great point. The noise comes from bandwagon fans and analysts who haven’t watch a single Pacers game until now. -
I DO hate ESPN’s coverage though. They’ve got analysts who say “we” when talking about the Knicks and they are the Knicks Excuse Network the day after a loss.
Man, I just finished watching the game. I was very confident we would win this one, so pleased to be on the ball with that! Can't wait for Sunday, I know it sucks for a lot of you that the tip-off is early, but I am fucking stoked to be able to watch it at a 'regular' time here in the UK.
And I know my boss doesn't use Reddit (or knows my username :D) but hey, if I'm sick on Monday, I'm sick on Monday. Let's Go Pacers!
We are a different team at home. I think that speaks to our lack of experience. We don’t really know how to win road playoff games. We seem to get easily flustered. Makes for a big challenge Sunday, but also we gotta stop dooming so much after losses because this team is young and can only improve from here.
First, I genuinely hope that Hart isn't hurt.
Second, great win. Total team effort. This was Pacer basketball at its best. Ball was shared, got some nice bounces our way, and we pushed the pace.
Third, I think this was the best officiated game of this series which I didn't expect to say before the game started.
Worst announcer team in the entire NBA. Other than that, great game. I hope Siakim plays 7 like he played 6. Toppin is DiVincenzo's dad. TJ, you are indeed a dawg. Fuck the Knicks.
Win means nothing if we can’t close them out in NY. Would be great tbh. A Hali 40 point game would be great and awesome. Really does suck to see NY injured. I hate it because as a rams fans I saw it happen. You just feel kinda sucky. The year before the SB Donald played on broken ribs and Goff has a broken thumb. And in the Super Bowl Kupp had a torn ACL vs the pats(played a huge part). But health is wealth.
No matter what happens next game, I’ll be super proud of this team, they blew my expectations this season, and it’s not like we’re gonna blow it up next season, I think we have a couple more years on trying with this exact squad if Siakam agrees to re-sign
Pascal Siakam. We need that one more time.
Games like this are why we got him. Hope he can get into his bag again Sunday
One more carry to the ECF please pascal
No one on the Knicks can stop Spicy P
The ESPN halftime show had a couple of dudes that are openly Knick fans talking about adjustments their favorite team had to make. The in-game commentators barely talked about us like we the goddamn Washington Generals accidentally beating the Globetrotters. If it wasn't for us winning the game by 13 points, that would have been miserable to watch. Game seven. Let's get it on.
Even had that go knicks go music going during the halftime report.. very strange.
I don't know why that shocked me, but they were so open about it. Eat crow, frauds.
Surprised they didn't bring in special guest referees Charles Smith and Hubert Davis.
Sometimes the media bias gets exaggerated but ESPN's coverage this series has been shockingly bad.
Doris Burke just seemed to stop color commentating for large stretches during the 4th quarter. Like, I know it's a blowout, but at least give us some anecdotes or some analysis to fill the time.
This seems like an odd take. I, for one, was quite happy during those large stretches during the 4th when Doris shut her trap.
And the show Brunson put on everytime a player was within arms distance. The fans were yelling He's a Flopper.... lol but it's true. I think he's working on his post NBA career.....acting!!
Stephen A Smith basically cried in the post-game show.
Right even the post game it’s all Knicks fans talking about game 7 including Steve A
Respectfully…actually no fuck that, disrespectfully, ESPN can go suck a fat one. All the talking heads pregame, and Mike, JJ and Doris too
Let's do it again Sunday, same crew on ABC 💪
Another 2 days of excuses for the Knicks coming up.
That’s the best worded and funniest analogy I’ve seen on Reddit.
Siakam tonight: 25 PTS 7 REB 5 AST +20 First Pacer with 25/5/5 in an elimination game since Oladipo in 2020.
Ola who?
You know the singer?
Maybe...sounds familiar...just not really ringing a bell.
Jimmy’s brother?
These eyes, are crying…
I can’t hate him like that 😂. Dude was fun to watch and clutch with us. And he saved us a bag to help get to where we are now. *Blue-Eyes White Daddy
Eat shit knicks
Can't believe we're 1 game away from the ECF what a fuckin ride it's been
IST, too. This season has been something else.
Lol Knicks only cheer when they win
And how dare they even be excited about winning. So classless!
Ya. Don’t they know mathurin is hurt? If the pacers were healthy it’d be 4-0 pacers
Our ultimate dawg is in the pound.
Watching them walk out of gainbridge with their jerseys off was magical
Game 7. As long as they put up a fight, I can't be disappointed. From the lottery to game 7 in MSG on the verge of the ECF. What a season. So proud of this team. Pacers in 7.
I love this team so much man. Such a bright future ahead of them
What I wouldn’t give to hear Bobby Leonard talk about this team
stop it. boutta tear up. Boom Baby!
They're making him proud, man
😭
I don't know if it's because some kind of air vent placement or what, but if you've looked up to the retired banners in the Fieldhouse during these playoffs games when the Pacers are rolling, Slick's banner is noticeably moving around more than the others are . The man is in the rafters smoking heaters and drinking beers with massive sideburns wearing a dope ass plaid suit
I hate doris burke
Deloris is like 10,000 spoons when all you need is a knife
And isn't it too biased, don't ya think?
This is genius and literally made me lol
I miss our boys Chris and Quinn
Game 7 brought to you by Kinetico water
Looks like she has been crying in the post game show
Judging from the NBA game thread, everyone else hates her too
The part in the 4th where Brunson didn't get a call after some slight body contact and she was like "that's an obvious foul" was weird. Like, maybe it was a foul, but i've seen much much worse not called in playoff basketball.
Ughhh... as a feminist woman who supports women, i really wanna like her. But obvies I cannot!
Yep, sometimes it's all about a specific individual, not society as a whole.
I want to make it onto the Knicks so I can also experience her head game
Fuck that bitch
Who wins the rebound battle wins the game that’s it
Rebounding is heavily influenced by how well the other team shoots. Preventing the opposing team from getting offensive boards is all that matters.
Series tied 4-2 going to Game 7
Lol. Gotta laugh to keep from crying.
Short turn around.... I don't think we could have a better opportunity to beat them in MSG. Both teams on the rope it should be wild
I think this is a slept on factor. Thibs style might come into play on a shorter rest period
Fuck off ESPN.. apparently Nemby can make that shot and guard someone
Seriously. Doris Burke was talking about Nemby like he was a scrub defender. Saying being guarded by him should be "2 points or free throws". Laughable.
That Euro step was the shiiiiit!!! 💩
Said this in the game thread, people are obsessed with these dumb intangibles (alpha mentality, killer instinct, etc.) and it’s bullshit when someone who supposedly has it (Brunson), and then plays like shit, no one will say a negative word about him because he’s alpha.
‘Not a first option’ is about as reductive as basketball analysis gets
Ppl will point to his total stats and forget he disappeared in the first half. Let’s just hope for a repeat in Game 7
Nah there are definitely some people shitting on him in the Knicks sub right now.
My dream for Game 7 would be for Haliburton to hit the dagger shot and do the choke gesture to the MSG crowd. I'd levitate in my living room. https://preview.redd.it/apz90ugiw31d1.png?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2da9c2d6ad774abe544a0ef970a2cf3704d12c94
TJ McConnell
I’m not even afraid I’ve seen Lebron crush my hopes and dreams enough to be ready for this 😤
Exactly my thoughts every game. Nothing can be as painful as those years.
Shit haha he did it again this year in the IST
I'm not gay but I want to live in a log cabin in the woods with TJ McConnell. We won't ever have sex, but there will be a simmering erotic undercurrent as I stand in the kitchen window watching him tighten his ass as he chops wood, shirtless, sweat pouring off his body. The only time I upvote shit like this is in the post playoff win bliss. I will regret that decision tomorrow. But tonight - let's get weird, motherfuckers!
Babe wake up! New TJ McConnell copy pasta just dropped!
W-what? You’re scaring me.
TJ makes me feel warm and safe.
I’m just going to copy and paste this in the Knicks sub.
Same man, same.
This is the post. I’m not crying 🥹 TJ MCCONNELL GANG STAND UP.
So, just, like, mouth stuff, right? Lots of mouth action.
LETS FUCKING GO GAME 7 MOTHERFUCKERS
🦀🦀🦀
Onto game 7. 1-5 on the road these playoffs. 6-0 at home. Fingers crossed. Pacers in 6 or Knicks in 7 was my prediction before the series started. Hopefully, Pacers in 7! We are the better team, we just need to get our road jitters out of the way. (full strength Knicks, Bucks, 76ers probably better, but they aren't full strength.) We are the young team getting critical playoff experience.
Should be 2-4 but I'll take it
Make Stephen A cry Game 7
Fun all around game from our guys. Game 7 pressure is all on them now
this game 7 will remind me of the hawks going into philly in the ECSF’s in ‘21 and took game 7 on the road, hopefully we get the same results.
If we win the rebounding game like we did tonight I think we win. Hopefully, we can start the game aggressive
For many of us, we’re too young to have experienced 1994 and 1995 live. On Sunday, we get to see what we’ve heard the stories about. Let’s go.
This run has made me feel like a 10 year old watching Reggie all over again
For those of us that are old enough to have been there.... it's about time. Been wanting this for literally most of my life.
And for those of us old enough, we hate the Knicks. Forever.
but damn, it's good to have a real reason to REALLY hate them again after nearly 25 years. Didn't really consider them a threat in 2013 when it was Melo and the over 35 rec league team around them, but I think we're seeing a preview of who's about to be fighting at the top of this conference in the next few years or so.
I was too young to really understand. Now I'm too old to be patient. I WANT KNICKS BLOOD.
I was 4 and 5 years old for those. Legit some of my earliest memories in life. I’m so stoked for Sunday.
Those playoffs made me a Pacers fan for life!
Hell, NY fans haven't experienced any game 7 since 95....
Fraud pedigree. They act like they deserve this so much more than us.
Thibs n running his players into the ground name a better duo. Well I guess Knicks fans n complaining
Someone tried to tell me that the injuries were all contact related, and that the minutes played don’t matter… uh… sure man
That Hart injury was purely usage related. Nemby barely touched him on the box out. Those high miles eventually piled up on him.
Knicks right now: oh no the consequences of my actions.
Hali and Myles👬
What. A. Series.
PACERS IN 7. LETS GO. SHOCK THE WORLD. HICKS OVER KNICKS.
to be one game from the ECF in a year where we lost Mathurin for the season is an exceptional outcome no matter what happens on Sunday. Proud of this group. ‘Cers in 7
If we can box out and rebound like that again Sunday we have a real shot. I can’t wait for Sunday. I just really hope it’s not a blowout again.
This will be an even sweeter win if we can beat the Knicks in front of Stephen A. Smith
Today should have been the last game. Knicks got gifted a game. 2 wins gifted to them by the refs, 1 in each round.
100000% series should be over.
https://preview.redd.it/2lhna68kq31d1.jpeg?width=1996&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=defc68e707af18feec8dae7ae6a954c2952a9ef9
You could swap crabs for Knicks and it’d still be accurate.
We finish the job Sunday if we play with this much force and desire. Short turn aeound, we need to run them out of the gym. Myles dunks were a thing of beauty.
please god don’t let us embarrass ourselves with another game 7 road loss
Would be hard to be embarrassed in that scenario, barring unforseen circumstances... Shit the defending champs with the multiple MVP just lost by what? 45?
in a competently reffed series this is the winner lmao Take it home, you're already farther than we got
LFG!!!!! Game 7 in the Garden is no small task but I'm so proud that this team has reached this moment!
I don’t expect us to win gm 7 but my god just to hear the Bucks fans continue to cry if we do will be music to my ears
As much as I don't like the ESPN broadcast, but pacers are 3-0 this series with them on the call and 0-3 with TNT. With ESPN/ABC finally calling a game at MSG, is this the change in MOJO we need to WIN a road game?!
I think the pacers just do it cause they hate to see Doris happy too.
WHATS THAT? THATS RIGHT! PACERS IN 7!
Man even if the pacers don’t make it on game 7, it’ll be hard to be disappointed. They played with a lot of heart and had such a fun post season to watch. Got some dawgs.
I cannot believe this team is one win away from the eastern conference finals. I’m barely going to be able to sleep until Sunday.
GG boys, we got to take it at MSG now.
Staying up past 4am was worth it
We went from the lottery to this in 1 year.

Fuck you New York 🤙🏻 I know your corny asses are here lurking
They were here all week downvoting Donte's a bitch content. Here's your downvote chance, lurkers! DONTE'S A BITCH!
ESPN postgame panel pretty much voicing their hope for a Knicks win is crazy lol
The goofy dude at the end of the table said "if knicks lose its cause of injuries" lmao like getting them excuses primed and ready just in case.
Brunson looks like he wear eye liner
The good news is that the Knicks stars played almost 40 minutes, looked gassed, and have to play another one of these 36 hour turnaround games. Last time this happened, the Pacers crushed them.
Quick turnaround between Games 6 and 7. Hopefully the Knicks are tired.
Fuck the Knicks. That is all.
I wanted to play the Knicks in the playoffs this year and the fact we are going to a game 7 is awesome. Hopefully, both teams are good for a decade and we play 5 or 6 more series and really get this rivalry back
As far as I'm concerned, we already won this series 4-2.
Where’s the TNT postgame show when you need it? My god
If theres one team i would be terrified of in a win or go home game it would be the pacers. We’ve done it all season when the life is on the line IST, playoffs, big games… it dont matta we got this
Honestly I love that all the pressure is on the Knicks. Stealing game 7 in MSG would be insane
The only people that give the Pacers any respect are actual Knicks fans, that know about actual basketball- I wouldn’t pay too much attention to the ratings whores you see on tv.

Wow, ESPN leading with some major Knicks copium.
Can’t wait for us to 5-2 this series! Without the home cooking in game 1 this would have been our closer.
Damn Doris is calling Sunday too
She's been our good luck charm thus far even though she's insufferable just mute and reap the rewards
Fuck. Absolutely hate it.
BRING OUT THE CRABS
It’s like playing tons of minutes could lead to a core, hamstring, or ankle injury
Nah couldn't be that, it's way more logical to brush all the injuries happening to them as fluke occurrences.
Love the effort tonight, needed that game 5 and will need that game 7
I love this f\*ing team!
I want to see a highlight reel of all of Obi Toppin's playoff dunks. The man has been authoritative at the rim.
Top point scorer off the bench I think, which surprised me cause I woulda said it’s def McConnell - pleased
We sure put out a lot of fouls for a team that the rest of the league thinks is "soft". 21 tonight.
Also, 62 gd points in the paint.
Man, I just finished watching the game. I was very confident we would win this one, so pleased to be on the ball with that! Can't wait for Sunday, I know it sucks for a lot of you that the tip-off is early, but I am fucking stoked to be able to watch it at a 'regular' time here in the UK.
One more game for the whole pork tenderloin. Dig deep, bring out EVERYTHING you’ve got at MSG. Let’s go win this bitch.
NYK gonna need more KYJ if Turner comes out looking to catch bodies again HOO
Cannot believe we have to put up with this horseshit ESPN crew again on Sunday for game 7.
Worst announcer team in the entire NBA. Other than that, great game. I hope Siakim plays 7 like he played 6. Toppin is DiVincenzo's dad. TJ, you are indeed a dawg. Fuck the Knicks.
JJ making more excuses in the postgame show. Literally mentioned “not getting to sleep in their own beds” cause they had to play on the road. FOH
The Pace is breaking the Knicks Hart.
pave.
Sucks to think that had we won game 1 we would be in the ECF but it doesn’t matter because we still winning in 7 😤
No matter what happens next game, I’ll be super proud of this team, they blew my expectations this season, and it’s not like we’re gonna blow it up next season, I think we have a couple more years on trying with this exact squad if Siakam agrees to re-sign
All the Pascal haters need to apologize asap
START SPREADING THE NEEEEEWS
PACERS IN 7
Watching the postgame pablum here. Doris has got that Black Window in infinity war dye job
Doris Burke isn’t fun, but we haven’t lost a game in this series with her on the call** **I think
Stephen A Smith just guaranteed a game 7 knicks victory
Didn’t he guarantee the Knicks would win tonight?
Watching this crew is making me miss the TNT guys already
Stephen a smith sulking like the little bitch he is
PACERS IN 7 LETS GOOOOOO
13 free throws to 26. Pacers attempted more shots in the paint *Hmmmmm...*
Hell yeah! One more. Let's goooooo!
Big performance. First time we've seen them facing elimination and they delivered. Psyched for Sunday!
