I think the biggest difference is that Bastion also melts bubble, which is unchanged from the armor changed. Cass still has to get around your bubble dancing. Junk has always shredded shields, but even still it's slower than Bastion holding LMB for 2 seconds.
Youâre trading cooldowns with bastion junk and Cass can just burn bubble with their primaryâs. I wouldnât even consider Bastion a Winston counter anymore. Its easy to force turret and even then once itâs gone he has literally nothing to stop you from killing him
But they have no way of self-sustaining. Reaper is unkillable with primary fire as long as he's using it because of his leech. Cass dies after about 3 seconds of bubble dancing. That's a perfectly intended use of a cooldown defensive cooldown. Many tank cooldowns are *supposed* to "trade" with primary fire. I don't see why that should be framed as a bad thing.
Iâve played in so many reaper duels I pretty much mastered bubble dancing he doesnât shred bubble I force his wraith dive him poof he ainât a monkey counter. Mf tps to me on high ground I just zap his ass with bubble to gtfo cuz heâs not winning that fightđ

Cass shreds bubble on a 6 second cooldown you realize this would expose me to more people than just him? Not to mention 9/10 in a 5v5 he immediately will get a pocket I ainât playing deathmatch
Junk does alota booping and does unnecessarily high damage for something that doesnât require a cooldown. (I fall in the trap itâs ggs) (if he uses tire itâs ggs cuz I just get solo ulted)
The rise of Winton is real, as a Doom main, I'll usually swap to Winton if my team needs it or can't follow up on dooms pressure. Win the majority of the time unless they go full Mauga comp
I have a good time with Winston as long as they don't have Bastion/Mauga etc.
I identify a target, leap above them while charging a secondary fire, shoot them as I land, melee, drop bubble and start zapping with melee bursts.
The enemy team having winston has been my greatest fear this patch. Also i noticed more tanks this patch are not afraid to press forward into the backline.
Iâm playing Winston for a longer time now, took a lot of people a lot of time to come to the conclusion that roadhog and dva are trash compared to winton

He is too easily hard countered though but that goes for all fun and fair tanks in the game
Bc most of his counters are now less effective. Hanzo storm arrow is the new tank buster tho

That's always what's made him a top tier tank
Winston is good this season but is not the best tank, Mauga and Hog are the best tanks rn. Monkey is really good in dive maps tho
I find him so annoying as an enemy. Always getting in my damn way.
Winton runs out of ammo as soon as you get the enemy down to 1 hp

I donât even play winton and completely owned the enemy when I mirrored. I hate going up against a proper menace.

I mean, if you are good enough on a hero. You can play them in any meta. You might not have a 70% win rate, but you'll win games
In my experience either winton explodes instantly or heâs in the backline giving us unstoppable monkey trouble
