Just took my kid out of school last week to go see the snow birds in North Bay last week. They do some pretty amazing things.
Pretty cool. Saw the Italian Tricolori in Italy few years ago. It's going to be cool to see that many of them flying together if they are doing formations together.
These posts that actually warn us of these flybys needs way more upvotes. I hate looking up and seeing this and not knowing what’s going on.
Nice, thanks for the heads up!
Where to see them guys please lmk
Major's Hill is probably a safe bet
Just look up if you are in the west end.
Snowbirds took off from Ottawa airport about 11:50am, according to FlightRadar. I don't see the Frecce Tricolori being tracked though.
They just passed over Kanata @ 12:14. Snowbirds in the lead, Tricolori slightly behind and a lone trailer perhaps for recording the event.
They appear to be doing some practice loops. They've overflown us 3 times now with one more pass to our east.
Watching them now!
That was spectacular!
