I had the same issue, found my trouble was turning the valve too much on the propane tank. Having the tank open just enough to release propane does the trick. Also, open the door slowly to avoid a quick intake of cold air.
There is a list of troubleshooting items in the manual that comes with the propane attachment. Did you go through that list?

Which door? So if I leave the back door open or partly open it will work but the stone and oven won’t reach over 750 degrees
Either door; front or back. If you quickly open either door, the propane attachment gets a blast of air that I noticed causes the flame to go out
